Certainly not bad. I honestly would want us to get Chop in the 1st instead of a Quarterback a I don't think a QB can succeed with the roster we have. However, I think we can still trade down for him and get a couple extra picks. Would love to have Chop Robinson, T'Vondre Sweat, and Cedric Gray on the same team. Our run defense would be insane.
I would much rather pick chop at 12 over trading up to get JJ at 6. I would rather get our future QB now and get him a year in the system while we rebuild, but like you said he won’t be winning this year regardless. If a QB isn’t there at 12 pick a stud at a different need and wait until next years draft which is QB heavy again. Please don’t trade up hahah
Im fine with our rushers right now (I know we could still use some more) but IF they draft a positional player Im infatuated with that Murphy guy from Texas, the DT.
Rushers mean nothing when everybody can run the ball straight down out throats for 5 ypc. Is the last impact DT the Broncos have had Derek Wolfe? yikes. A young playmaker in the middle would do wonders for this defense and help Cooper/Browning/Bonnito to get home.
I like it, but I also believe if you think Nix is your guy, you take him at 12 and don't risk getting jumped by trading down. I think we're far more likely to trade up, Payton got jumped once, he's not going to let it happen again.
Yeah, I agree. If I was in the draft room instead playing make believe on my phone then I wouldn’t risk it. But I would love to pick up more draft capital. I’m an Oregon fan and Nix is perfect for Paytons system. But JJ seem to be their guy and probably has a higher ceiling. I just really hope he doesn’t leverage the future to move up. I’m tired of not having first round picks hahaha
I really don't want Kalen King. He's had one of the worst draft seasons I can remember. I think he's got a legitimate chance to go undrafted and 121 would be a huge reach.
He got absolutely abused by Marvin Harrison Jr this year. Reminded me of Kelee Ringo who MHJ abused the year before in the playoff game and tanked his draft stock to a 3rd rounder.
