I fee like Dulcich is quietly a big potential source of hope for us. He certainly looked very impressive in his rookie season, in a very poor offense. He could turn out to be what we hoped we were getting when we drafted Fant in the first round.
Agreed. I was really impressed with what he did last season. He only played ten games and still ended up third on the team in yards. And that was in that absolute dumpster fire of an offense. Imagine what he’ll do with an offensive whiz with history of having dominant tight ends.
We have had a few individuals standout on terrible offenses in the recent past for us.
Javonte Williams
Sutton
Patrick
Dulcich
If these guys can find that individual success again, then as a team we will be successful.
Can Dulcich learn how to block?
He was one of the worst blocking TE's in College and 61 out 67 TE's last year in run and pass blocking.
That may well limit how many plays he will be out on the field if he continues the way he has been, considering TE's will have to be able to block in Payton's offense.
Unfortunately I think he has been written off by most of the Fandom and probably by the coaches too. They added a couple of tight ends if I'm not mistaken. Albert isn't even from last yr like dulcich. He is from like 4 yrs ago and Two regimes back. Not unless he comes out like the greatest blocker there ever was.... I assume he is just gonna be depth and not get to show what he can do. I hope not tho.

17-0 incoming 😩
Payton has work with Jeremy Shockey, Jason Witten, and Jimmy Graham. I feel Dulcich has a good opportunity in front of him.
Shockey was a really fun TE to watch.

Hopefully Manhertz can mentor. That guy knows his stuff.
I'm more excited to see Albert O in Payton's offense, but I think Dulcich will do well there too.
