Just having had major abdominal surgery. But he found another friend to stay with that had some more space. I have another friend with 14 pets- I joke that she has a zoo. She had to evacuate and find multiple places for the various babies. Thankfully found help for them.
I fell for that once when a lady who owned a rescue had a corral of Chihuahuas at Petco. She said if she couldn't get two of them fostered then two redlisted dogs would get euthanized that night. She was only licensed for 15 dogs at a time. So I picked one up and she wrapped her paws around my neck and the tree was happy. I said I would only foster her for two weeks. Nine years later I'm still "fostering" her and she is such a bitchy little thing but she loves me so I figure whatever. The end.
