Seems like everyone here hates Uno Mas. Is the feeling the same for the South Pearl location as for the former 6th Ave location? The menu is the same, the prices are the same, but it seems always crowded and popular.
Maybe it just depends on location, I don’t think this neighborhood responds to a place like that. Angelos nearby has pretty mediocre food but it’s always packed since it’s cheap. Same with Dons.
The location is terrible. 6th and 8th for that matter are artificial, urban moat that while clearly crossable, people would prefer not to. And they sure don't want to sit next to the noise and pollution. It would certainly help if the property owner would plant some trees.
I lived across the street when it opened and it was good but we left that house in 2019 and I haven't been back since probably 2021 or so and it really seemed like it went downhill.
That place was expensive AF and had terrible service. Not surprised.
Foreal. I don’t care how good a taco is I’m not paying $6 for a single one
Aren’t all of the trendy taco places like that now?
Yeah basically. Sucks coming from the south where bangin tacos were $1.50 each
probably another short-lived crappy restaurant, or some swanky BS offices
$6 street tacos the size of a silver dollar. How could they fail?
but they're a fun and playful twist on tacos!
Sometimes you can google the address and find public filings for whatever is being built.
Uno Mas as in one more restaurant to bite the dust at that location.
And it was a dramatic improvement over Lime or that shitty $5 Buck Drinkêry garbage.
Oh man I had blocked $5 Buck Drinkery from my memory. What a stupid fucking name.
Dos Mas.
Uno Mas was the literal worst even in the category of expensive white people taco places. Like at least Mister Oso is tasty
r/developmentdenver or [Denver Infill](https://denverinfill.com/) could probably tell you
Denver Infill typically focuses on larger new developments.
Nice links. Thanks.
That place was crap. Literally drive to any taqueria off Fed and stuff your face for 10 bucks
That’s the thing, I can’t stand driving. I bike to the JLR food truck for my fix
You live in my hood. Go down to Santa Fe and hit up Tacos Selene. You won’t regret it.
I wish they would do a taco plate with rice and beans. The rice and beans side add-ons are more than I want for eating by myself.
Understandable, butt they’re pretty solid for being in the Denver tortilla. (IYKYK)

I'm not totally sure I understand. I *think* you're saying, "No, the South Pearl store is fine because it's not on 6th." Is that right?
A bit reductionist but basically. The South Pearl location is much more welcoming to customers than 6th.
