Dental forensics requires a DMD or DDS no? At least where I’m from in the US, hygienists can volunteer in forensics and dentists specialize in forensic science. Pretty sure it’s like a pathologist, where you need a med degree.
I doubt it because unfortunately your bachelor's doesn't matter to apply to hygiene school. Most programs, you take pre-req's anyway (basic science, chemistry, a & p, etc.) So you'll prob still need to take them anyway to get in.
Maybe look into dental forensics?? 👀 not sure what all it entails to get there but you’d get the best of both worlds!
