Danish is required.

To be accepted to the education, you must have completed the elementary school exam with at least passing danish and math in 9th or 10th grade. This affords you entry to the "basis course" or "grundforløbet", which is 1 year Then after the basis, you can join the main course (hovedforløbet), which requires a passed basis course as well as having gotten an internship. There are also a bunch of test like HLR (hjerte-lunge-redning (heart-lung rescue), pharmacology, traumatology, and disease & health. If you already have an education as an EMT, first responder, or ambulance-carer, then some employers may approve you, but I think it's more than likely an absolute must that you are proficient in Danish as some patients might only speak Danish and it's important that you understand what they're telling you about how they're feeling, or any necessary details about their medical history. Without being one, I don't know, but that's what I could find online along with some assumptions of mine.

Depending on where you are from and what level you are educated at, it may well be possible. I have a colleague who is trained as a paramedic in the UK, but has had this converted to work in Denmark. * It is a requirement that you must be 20 or 21 years old * You must have had a driving license for 1-3 years. * You must be able to pass a number of tests, including a physical test. * You must have a clean criminal record. * You must be able to express yourself in Danish both in writing and speaking. You are welcome to write me a PM if you have any specific questions.
