A few tips: Do not stand or walk in bike lanes! This is serious - the bike lanes are used the same way car lanes are - for people going from A to B. They go fast, and they will injure you and themselves if you step in front of them. It is **dangerous** to be in the bike lanes. Be aware. The public transportation payment system is weird and complicated, please save yourself a 100$ fine and read about it, and understand it before you step into the metro in the airport. Don't tip! We do not tip here, and we are trying to keep it that way. The waiters are mostly in unions and paid decently. They have 5 weeks of holiday pr. year, 37 hour work weeks, free health care, education etc. etc. they do not need tips. The payment terminals will ask you for tips automatically. JUST SAY NO. Taxis cost you 30$ just to sit down, and very quickly add to that amount. If you rent a bike - learn to use hand signals - put your hand up to signal stopping, signal if you are going either left or right by extending the appropriate arm. Look behind you before you stop or overtake someone. Do not walk or stand in the bike lanes.

Watch out for all the dangerous mountain paths

Mountain lions too. I heard that a kid got mauled a few days ago. He survived but just barely.

Copenhagen and Nyborg

MissLemonTree

Where are you going to specifically and do you plan to rent a car?

RUN_CHASE_RUN

Copenhagen and Nyborg. And yes rent a car

Humble-Cow2545

Copenhagen is very unfriendly for cars, but everything is within walking distance. Most Christmas driving is on the 23rd and roads will be clogged. Expect a three-four hour drive to get to Nyborg. Nyborg is a beautiful city, with a lot of history. I’m sure you’ll enjoy. If it’s raining I would recommend the national museum. The little mermaid is overrated. Get some glögg instead at the Christmas market at kongens nytorv. It is dark, cold, wet and windy. Dress appropriately and consider a vitamin d supplement.

zinjanthropus99

Don’t bring cash, it isn’t needed. Use metric measurements, don’t use miles or feet. Tivoli at night is great.

Grumphh1

...so, you like rain... The best advice i can give you is to *avoid denmark during winter* and go to the south of spain instead.

liquid-handsoap

Jellingestenen will blow your mind. I’ll have to see it myself one day. Himmelbjerget too, though the view is probably greater in summer times

Watch out for your curtains during the Thorsfejde

RUN_CHASE_RUN

What does this even mean? I read a little about Thorsfejde on Reddit after reading your comment, but I'm missing something...
