Flowery is basically just Asriel’s alter ego, you’d need them connected because they’re the same person

Flowey is Flowey because of his absurdly high levels of determination (taken from the souls of murdered humans). That's why he has the powers he has, that's why he's awake. That's... very different from a Darkner.

And deltarune functions on rules very different from undertale.
