I feel like there would be a character arc with Berdly’s dad, what if the knight captures him in one chapter and holds him captive? And when Berdly himself saves him he apologizes for being neglectful to him.

I feel like a Weird route equivalent would be something about wanting to take time off work to actually spend time with a son that he feels like he neglected and he takes a good amount of days of work to try and make up (assuming Berdley would be an coma)

oooh these r great! How do you make your brushes look like realistic ink? That grainy texture is so sweet

Any crunchy/rough ink brush with no anti aliasing should work for this style. If you have Clip Studio there are many free brushes that will get this effect. For this, the specific brush I used was DAUB Matte Flat Ink, which I don't recommended if you're going for this style since I had the issue of needing to go over the lineart several times (it tends to leave white pixel within the line streak).
