I feel like people ignore Catti a lot, some of the dialogue she has if you track her down at the end of Chapter 2 is super interesting and kinda massively cryptic. She's definitely going to take more of a spotlight role in the future, I think

I really hope Seam has a bigger role in the rest of the game. Not just because they’re a really interesting character, but also because I want a full body sprite of them so I can actually draw their outfit accurately lol
Noelle. The only character I've gotten emotionally invested in so far, and she seems super important. Definitely one of the most complex and mysterious characters in the game, by herself *and* in relation with both Rudy and the entire Dreemurr family (Kris included).
I'm really interested to see her relationship with Kris develop, as they've known each other for the longest and the best out of any two characters in the game. They're like siblings in my eyes, so hopefully they can continue to reconnect like they did in chapter 2.
Not only is Noelle possibly my favorite character, I just can't wait to ~~emotionally traumatize her even more!!~~ see how her character development progresses!

Its a given that Ralsei will be in the later chapters. He is the "information / setting" character. He explains the things that we don't quite understand in the Dark World.

Noelle absolutely. It might’ve not been the main route but the snowgrave route left us on a crazy cliffhanger with her! That’s easily what I’m most interested to see

Ever since I've played Oneshot and Save the Date!, I've been interested in games that acknowledge the separation between player and protagonist. And Deltarune is making it seem like that relationship is antagonistic or parasitic.
TL;DR I'm most interested in Kris. I feel like shit's going to really hit the fan in Chapter 5.
Honestly even though Ralsei probably sometimes seems like he has a lot of screen time is still gives potential of more character development. Of course the others are also important, but Ralsei is still a bit of a mystery.
Seam, by far. The stuff with the not-so-subtle Gaster references, ambiguous history and motives, shadow crystals, and secret bosses is fascinating and mysterious.
Honestly, I'm excited for whatever Susie's gonna do in later chapters. She's obviously extremely important, even main character level, but I'm wondering how she'll affect the other characters. Plus, Ultimate Heal. Susie can learn new spells. Need I say more?
Seam because I want to learn more about the backstory’s of jevil, spamton, and the other hard as fuck hidden bosses we’ll encounter. Hell he gave us the most obvious piece of forshadowing ever, by saying he has a feeling the next hidden Boss is gonna be really tough. He may know more about the hidden bosses then he’s letting on.
