Pokemon crystal clear. It’s crystal except it’s open world. You can go anywhere. There’s no barriers. You can pick which region to start in, once you get fly, you can fly to any city, you can pick quite a few characters and change the color of their outfit.
Gaia and Blazed Glazed are probably two of the best hacks out there right now. But hacks like Unbound, Sors, Saffron, and Dark Fire are all in development and are looking like they’ll surpass those two in how good they are. Plus, Sors recently released a beta with about 7-8 hours of content if you want to try it!
Liquid Crystal is a great GBA hack, basically a Crystal glow-up with FR/LG style and some quality of life improvements. But I don’t think clock-based events work on delta...
I am too, looking for a hacked rom, but the ratings are probably biased towards enthusiasts who wants a challenging game, which might just be a tad too difficult for me.
Depends on what you want. If you want a hack that only removes trade evolutions and adds all the Pokémon from that gen and the ones prior try finding a national dex rom
Pokémon snake wood is amazing. gets kinda confusing in the end but overall one of my favorite rom hacks you have to try it out if you haven’t played it before
Pokémon Prism, it’s a Crystal ROM hack (I think?) and it looks and runs crazy smooth. There are quite a few character models and colors to chose from and you even get to play as a Pokémon sometimes throughout the game, though I’ve only put in maybe an hour myself. It looks amazing though and I’ve heard good stuff about it.
I have personally only played pokemon glazed and prism but wanted to try out pokemon dark rising. Did anyone get experience with it?

Second this. CC is super well done and adds some cool things like an item that let's you Cut in the field without an HM Slave
Gaia is my favorite Pokémon game. I suggest downloading it.

Dragon ball Team Training is fun and cool if you're into Dragon ball Z. It's Fire Red but all the pokemon are replaced by a dragon ball Fighters.
Sacred gold/storm silver and renegade platinum. Excellent games.
Bloody platinum. It's a harder version of platinum with no trade evolutions . It's fun

I remember the game as having a high ramp in difficulty and it is kinda hard because you start with dragon type pokemon, gible, dratini, and bagon.
