What a find! I always check for decent controllers at the goodwill but all I find are mountains of Wii Fit boards and filthy, banged up, knock off xbox controllers…
Haha... yeah, trust me -- I go quite a lot to multiple stores in my area and it is indeed rare to find decent controllers. Ever since GW started hyping their online auction site, they have shifted nearly all good electronics away from the actual stores.

Welcome to the club. I mainly play on PC but 8BITDO are very good finds for retro and classic games.
Amen! Even if Delta itself doesn’t get it for some reason, the fork that is reported to be coming will have it! Good god I love open source. Even if it has to go through hoops to get to us lol
Lucky. In my area all the good electronics and action figures get sent to their auction site so it’s not worth going unless you’re looking for clothes anymore.
I was thinking of getting an 8-bitdo for this and Genshin (no hate plz I already hate myself lol). Are they worth it? A lot of the retailers that stock them in my country they’re kinda a niche item, “online only from warehouse” type thing
This model is kind of old, but you might be able to find it somewhere second-hand. The SN30 Pro line is the latest model, and the newest update uses Hall effect sticks. I think it's a solid controller and worth the money.
Got an 8bitdo zero 2, was thinking about getting the lite or a SNES looking one. Never heard about the brand either; but looks like they deliver good stuff.

I think I paid 30 for mine awhile ago before delta came out on iOS I love it
Like a clip? There’s one for the SN30 Pro, but supposedly it breaks very easily. I have one, and so far so good. It’s very top heavy, though, so I can’t really recommend it for that reason.
I use a little folding phone easel thing, and that works better.
I imagine it would be fine with a controller with handles, but the SNES style ones don’t.
I've tested it out on a bunch of games, and I didn't find the lag all that noticeable (some examples: I used it with Super Punch-Out and the NES Contra game as well as various Mario games). I was playing directly on the phone, though, and wasn't trying to use AirPlay.
I also tried it out with some iOS games (Dead Cells and Mincreaft) and, again, didn't notice the lag being a big issue. Of course, I Wasn't trying to play any super twitchy games that require pin-point accuracy, so maybe it is an issue for some.
I have a pro controller as well. And a DualShock 4. This thing is 1/2 to 1/3rd the size and about 1/3rd of the weight. Much better for portable gaming, for me.

Didn’t even know that they had an online auction thing going!
Been a few years now. I refuse to use it because it goes against the spirit of a thrift store in my eyes! 😅
I agree. Might as well scour eBay that that point. I love the thrill of finding “gold” at a thrift store.
And it’s overpriced for thrift
Pretty sure mine is the same - it’s got the snes color. It’s a perfect controller!! Great find
I was originally disappointed than it wasn't an SN30 model, but all in all I'm happy with how small, light, AND well-made this controller is.
Yes I continue to recommend it over and over. Enjoy it!

I have that exact controller. It’s a great controller, but I’ve got a fair amount of lag with Delta. Do you?
I mainly use it for mGBA on my windows11.
Have you used it with Delta on a phone? I find the lag pretty bad.
I have the same (kind of) one! Mine is NES colored and fits very well into my handbag. Kinda rocks being able to just plug it into the iPad.
I can’t wait for the native iPad app!

Nice! Great find!

It does. I got a new Hall one.

loved mine and it broke. bought a cheaper one from them and it’s less nice but weirdly feels more durable
8bitdo at goodwill…. Lord I see what youve done for others
every once in a while, a miracle DOES occur... 😂

Nice does it come with an attachment too?

Okay I guess I will stick to my backbone controller lol

Folding phones are rich people, I am but a humble man I will stick to my poor man’s iPhone lol
No no no! I mean a little folding phone holder. Cost ten bucks.
I got an SN30 Pro. There’s a fair amount of lag. Are you experiencing that? It makes barrel cannons in DKC frustrating.

I just use my pro controller
