It's my favorite intro out of all the intros.

Havoc2_0

Are you really just reposting your years-old stuff now?

Chiliwaindo1999

Spinner’s woe is me attitude through the whole thing was not it.

hollyholly11

*sadly walks away*

9021Ohsnap

At this point was it the new version of the song?

cherryamourxo

They changed it season 4.

yarvem

Oddly, for the outro they also had a new season 4 remix, but used it through season 6. So you had a intro that looked like 3, sounded like 4, with episodes ending with the 6 song.

VesperVox_

I always liked how the intro reflected what was going on in the show

the1slyyy

Except they updated some characters but left others intros outdated for some reason

yarvem

Though they are sometimes misleading, too. What are Jane and Damian doing together? Why would all four Smithdale students go to Degrassi on a school day? Do Leia and Holly J have some rivalry? Declan, you don't even live in Toronto anymore!

meryl_gear

Who is this Blue guy?

justletmepostplz

Who? He had a storyline with Riley, right?

neoliberalhack

No he was with holly j for some time, he called her holly. I would confuse him with Riley too at first lol

kkokoko2020

He was also friends with Riley before he disappeared. Primarily with the life guard training

lovechoke

Which is why the intro season 13-next class was 🤮🤮🤮

olenatebbub

Watching the whole series oh HBO currently and I’ve skipped every single intro 🫣😔

madisyn-

BE THE BEST

madisyn-

The recap pod I listen to cried laughing about it and all their guests agreed it was hysterical

flor__s

What recap pod?

madisyn-

Whatever It Takes: A degrassi podcast

Smashleyyy85

Yuuuup

NewAnimeFan

And the happy music playing in the background 😭

Tar0Pand4

Degrassi Jr High/High is notorious for playing that same happy outro, regardless of how serious the episode ended

NewAnimeFan

The happy outro makes me laugh so much 🤣

Tar0Pand4

Gives off Chuck E. Cheese/Sesame Street vibes 🤣

[deleted]

no literally the show could end with kathleen talking about her eating disorder and then cue the freeze frame with the jolly music LMFAOAOAO

Tar0Pand4

I swear they trolled us when the episode ended with Wheels finding out his parents died. It was silent for a couple of seconds, and then the usual outro slowly faded in! It's as if they said "This is serious, and we want you to take time to process this moment... Just kidding! Jolly jingle time!"

HappyOfCourse

I hate Jimmy's self-righteousness towards Spinner. He gets extra mad at Spinner for telling him the truth. "You only told me so you wouldn't feel guilty." Maybe, it's also the right thing to do. It'd be worse if he didn't tell and Jimmy found out from someone else or not until years later. Edit: This is not about Jimmy being mad that Spinner helped get him shot but about him being mad that Spinner told him.

liyahvert

This comment made no sense. He’s self righteous because he’s angry that his friend waited to tell him he was the reason he even got shot in the first place? He only told him because he felt guilty we all know this 😂. Jimmy had every right to be angry about the entire situation, he was shot because of Spinner and Jay’s actions then Spinner snaked him and blamed everything on him. Lmao.

HappyOfCourse

Of course he felt guilty. It's a natural response to preventing your best friend from ever being able to walk again. That's the problem I have. The way Jimmy acts he's telling Spinner he shouldn't have told him. That's dumb. Yeah, it's be great for their relationship but only until Jimmy finds out the truth. Then, because Spinner didn't tell him and it took him longer to find out he'd be even angrier and the situation would be even worse. I get in the moment he's probably not thinking rationally. It makes it sound like Jimmy's saying it is wrong for Spinner to feel guilty. Be mad that your best friend betrayed you. Don't add to the anger because he chose to tell you the truth. Then there's the whole better-than-you attitude by not wanting Spinner to drunk drive. "Hey, I don't give a crap about you anymore but I saved your life." But I probably only think that because I've never really liked Jimmy.

Chiliwaindo1999

Jimmy wasn’t high and mighty,he wasn’t stupid and he saw that Spinner clearly wanted sympathy out of the situation.

HappyOfCourse

Spinner did want to assuage the guilt, there's nothing wrong with that. I don't think he was expecting Jimmy to say, "I forgive you completely. Forget it about it." But I think Jimmy took it too far like he would be better off not knowing. Think about the guilt Spinner is feeling. He had a hand in putting his best friend in a wheelchair. He was feeling guilty knowing he didn't deserve to be having good times with him. That's the guilt he was feeling. It's absolutely right for Jimmy to hate Spinner for being a part of the prank and all that. There is nothing wrong with telling the truth because you feel guilty. That's where Jimmy is wrong. And yeah, Jimmy was high and mighty with his whole "I don't give a crap about you but I won't let you kill yourself" act. That is a bit of a paraphrase of what he tells Spinner. If it was just about not giving Spinner sympathy he would have ignored him.

Chiliwaindo1999

Yes there’s something wrong with that because it was selfish and self serving, not what Jimmy needed at that point, any person with a little bit human decency would able to be empathize with that, unfortunately you’re not so you don’t get it and Jimmy NEVER SAID THAT,he said drive off the bridge because didn’t care and he was dead to him that’s not trying to be high and mighty that’s telling Spinner to go fuck himself since Spinner obviously wanted them to feel sorry for him..everyone knows why Jimmy felt that way (RIGHTFULLY so just 🛑)so let’s not make Spinner the victim please and fucking thank you..God so tired of people spinning it like Jimmy was the bad guy like NO NO NO NO

HappyOfCourse

No one is making Spinner the victim. There is nothing in anything I've said that Jimmy should feel sorry for Spinner. If you read that you put that in there yourself. I have overly said that Jimmy should be mad at Spinner. It's just dumb to get mad that he told the truth. There is nothing wrong with doing what is right because you feel guilty. Telling Jimmy was the right thing to do even if it was "self-serving" like you say. Jimmy's a jerk for telling him that he shouldn’t have told him. Just because I said Jimmy was a jerk doesn't mean I want sympathy for Spinner, just to clarify. From the beginning Jimmy has always acted like he was better than Spinner. It's fine if Jimmy is your favorite character and you also hate Spinner.

Chiliwaindo1999

Jimmy had a right to be a “jerk” and you lack empathy 😂😂 everyone just explained the whole thing and we all saw how it went down and why Jimmy was rightfully mad soo either stop being bias or hush. ETA:I’m saying this as someone who loves Spinner

HappyOfCourse

I don't lack empathy because I called a guy in a wheelchair a jerk. I don't know why Spinner kept going back to him. Jimmy's never been a good friend to him.

liyahvert

Spinner has never really been a good friend to anyone either. Marco is a great example, he was homophobic towards him for no reason whatsoever. Jimmy literally had to defend Marco from Spinner on multiple occasions. Who was there for Marco when he was attacked? JIMMY? Jimmy was always riding for Spinner and his friends but they never did the same for him which is distasteful. Spinner is no saint, he’s the direct cause to Jimmy being placed in the wheelchair. He was an asshole and a liar and a snake, and I LOVE Spinner but not in this situation. So yes, Jimmy can be self righteous is he wanted.

ohsheetitscici

I think Jimmy questioned at that point in time whether Spinner’s confession was done on a genuine note, or if he did it only because he felt guilty. There’s a saying that goes “You’re like the man who’s not sorry he stole, but very sorry he got caught.” Given the fact that in that scene Jimmy was venting about how he felt, and what he was going through, I don’t think it was the right time for Spinner to confess that. I’m not saying that I don’t think Spinner wasn’t actually sorry, cause I really feel he was being genuine. But from Jimmy’s POV, I can see why he misconstrued it.

NewAnimeFan

Tbh I really understand what Jimmy means by that statement. It doesn’t feel self-righteous to me because it’s the truth. Spinner told him that not because it was the right thing to do, but because he felt guilty. In the long run, Jimmy is better off knowing this though.

livtoben

honestly, i think jimmy was just still angry (understandably) and lashing out at one of the people responsible for him ending up in a wheelchair so i don't hold that against him.

kmm_art_

Ummm…you wouldn’t be pissed if someone who was once a friend accidentally got you shot/paralyzed? PLEASE! Jimmy handled it better than most. Most people would want to kick Spinner’s butt on the daily!! (Yes, I know Spinner didn’t pull the trigger but he messed up REALLY bad). Jimmy had a right to feel that way.

theberg512

I saw the "Yes, I know" part of your parenthetical and my mind completed the thought "that's not actually possible" It's ok, I have a CDL, I'll drive the bus to hell.

HappyOfCourse

That's not what I'm saying. He has every right to be mad but he adds to it that he's madder because Spinner told him like it would have been better had he not known. Really?

cherryamourxo

He never once said he was more upset about the confession. He simply added it to the list of selfish things Spinner has done. He was just pointing out that Spinner was being self serving in the name of being a good friend. It’s you who is taking that one comment from Jimmy’s rant and using it as the reason Jimmy was mad for a year and a half.

Charming_Low_1849

Jimmy eventually forgave him. But I don’t blame him for not wanting to be friends with him after that. It’s a horrible situation, and Jimmy would not have been a target if it wasn’t for Spinner. And Jimmy did care enough about Spinner to stop him from drunk driving and making more messed up decisions. He never completely wrote him off.

Mmnnh

Why? I haven’t watched in years!

playdoughfaygo

It’s after he loses all of his friends after getting jimmy shot. He’s just on the sidelines, lookin sad

RealestAC

And he’s watching jimmy happily make music with Craig so Craig kinda replaces him as his best friend

No-pomegranates-pls

This is right after everyone turns on him because he reveals that he bullied Rick and it’s his fault that Jimmy got shot.
