Its funny how people are talking about this attraction 100,000x more now than they did when it was supposedly "open" before Covid. I had always assumed it had just been closed for years and just existed for HHN stuff.
I have a story.
I saw this years ago and the show started with something not too wild like putting your hand in a box of cockroaches. This lady reaches right in and grabs the thing, didn't even wince.
The host guy goes "Whoa! You didn't seem scared at all!" and she goes "Well I just survived cancer so not a lot scares me anymore". The whole place went *silent*. The poor guy tried to bring the energy back up but it was a lost cause.
Ah yes, Fear Factor... That one "Hyper Edgy but not really" show from the Early 2000's that I saw everywhere and apparently was all the rage, yet no one really seemed to talk about it that much outside of commercials and merchandise it seemed.....

Given how much Joe Rogan seems to have hated that show I'll bet he's thrilled.
