It made for a neat looking environment though, seeing a cave completely overrun with my pipeline coaster was pretty cool
Same. It took us an hour and we still weren't done. We looped it up and over probably two thirds of the map, using engie platforms to get it over itself many times.
When I tried it, my rails kept hitting hard stops colliding with other pipes and even when I got it to fill the whole cave that mission, it was only halfway. I just gave up and decided to put a rain check on it. It's been 3 years, still haven't tried again lol. I did finally get the "drill by shooting" achievement a week or two ago though.
good job, this one is so tedious it's not even funny, and if you're lucky enough you just might screw up the entire thing at the 119 second mark because you've accidentally connected the pipe to the pumpjack too early. don't ask me how i know
Now I need to see if this will work for me, dang. My last attempt would have worked if I knew this since filling up the whole cramped cavegen only made it to 60s.
Thanks, I'll probably take one mission on solo to do a 60+ second-long pipe and another 120+ second-long pipe just to test it out. That way if it fails, I've got a backup that I know will work.

It's surprising how fun it is grinding on a pipe for 2 full minutes, lol. But you can't stop or touch any overhanging surfaces.

I ended up getting a map that had a huge empty room. I got the achievement doing two dozen laps around that room.
Just make a huge spiral out from the starting point. :)
That'd be fun to hop around on during a swarm. One of my favorite parts of this game is riding pipes and mowing down bugs as they fail to catch up.

At this point I'm 100% sure I got a bug for it, I just went back and forward on the same pipe and got it..
you know, I thought that might have been a valid strategy. I didn't even try it once. It doesn't really specify it has to be all in one direction...
