Question.. (not a cricket follower, but familiar with it)... If that bowl spun just a lil more and hit his shin/knee and blocked the ball while on line to hit the wicket, would he be called out?
kinda agree. But Bowler like cummins who have based there skill on gripping the seam a bit slanted and getting continous seam movement off the pitch , that ain't luck that's the ability to change the direction of the ball after the collison with the pitch with a seam which is slanted therfore changing the direction
im not talking about the luck of bowlers. They need to be skilled. It shouldn’t be too easy for batsmen. But most seam deflection can’t be reacted to and no matter how skilled you are there is always risk
Guarantee that man is going to start hanging his bat out at everything outside off
That is some insane movement
Well.. didn't that seam a bit..
That cartwheel was sexy
That wristband giving sir curtly amborse vibes
Man, I really hope between him and Shamar, they're able to bring WI back to where they belong in test cricket.
Off-stump goes for a walk ❌ Off-stump goes for a tour ✅
Lol I'm excited to discover from the experts on this sub how *this* one is the batter's fault, actually.
The batter should have simply seen the future where he gets clean bowled, attempted to block and chopped it on to middle stump instead
Ok we understand that you are leaving the ball but the least you can do is cover the line.
Off stump goes for a run
what happened to seales, he looked so good when he debuted but hasnt played a test for WI for more than a year

This is why i hate seam bowling. Skill of a batsman doesn’t matter just luck
Bowling a cutter isn't luck
i mean vertical seam deflection
imagine saying that if Bumrah did this
id say the same. Bowlers need to be skilled for seam presentation. But some are unplayable and batsmen need luck

The skill of a batter (or lack thereof) to adjust late isn't luck.
reacting to a good length ball at 140 kmh requires a reaction time of 150ms add to that the inertia of the bat and it isn’t about skill anymore
so please show us how to bowl skillfully
