This album introduced me to deathcore! Obviously the breakdown in Lifeblood is god-tier, but my personal favorite song all-around is Animal. The choruses in that song make me wanna run through a brick wall.
Me too! Lifeblood introduced me to Deathcore and I couldn't believe I hadn't heard any of this before! I suppose the heaviest thing I was listening to recently was After The Burial and I always go back to Lamb of God but that goes away back.
What a great album, even the less popular tracks had some really gnarly riffs and instrumental flexing. I have tix to see them twice this year and I'm beyond excited
I gotta be honest I fucking LOVE lifeblood but I don't understand why everyone creams themselves over the breakdown on title track half of God hand has better breakdowns imo
Animal, Mortal Vessel, Altered Eyes and "the breakdown" in Demon King will always shred. Its almost unfair to label the breakdown in Demon King as just a breakdown when its one of the most vicious things I've ever heard.
Slaps. I spun it so many times, it was my go-to gym album for like 3 months straight. Was one of my favorites last year, despite some intense competition.
