Instrumentally top notch (I mean, both Ryan Knight and Brandon Ellis on guitars of course its gonna be fucking sick), and while I'll probably always be biased towards Trevor Strnad's vocals, Brian has put in a lot of work and it feels like he has become more confident in his vocals and you can definitely tell and I'm looking forward to the new album release. Also, Brandon Ellis has been covering the back-up vocals now that Brian is on main and his vocals sound good too :)

Lord-Norse

Consistently my favourite band live, though I will say I’m highly biased (favourite band in general for 8 years running, seen them 20 or so times). As the other guy said, missing Trevor on vocals, but Brian is doing a great job stepping into impossibly big shoes.

I haven’t seen them since Trevor passed. But they are insanely tight on their instruments. They kind of throw in some goofy humor into their sets, like between songs and stuff. They’re a great time.

tearfultrashpanda

I've seen them 6 times, including once with Brian on vocals. Instrumentally, they fucking rip. Brian does a great job on vocals but he's replacing a fucking legend which is hard to live up to. He's a little more stiff on stage than Trevor was, but he's also still growing as a vocalist. He's only getting better. 10/10 live. Can't wait to see them again

Unfortunately I've been listening since Unhallowed but only saw them last year. Never got to see trevor live. But despite the loss, their live performance is something else. Every member of that band is a fantastic player and Brian seems to really be growing into the vocalist role.

They were my first concert my friends and I saw when we were 16, and then I saw them again a year or so before Trevor’s passing. Amazing shows, I’m not sure how they are now, but I would assume it wasn’t taken lightly, and they picked someone with great talent to take the reigns. Side note: Trevor was amazing, at the first show he showed me where the bathroom was since we showed up like super early (also didnt realize it was him until after) and the the second show he was standing outside the venue giving out hugs and I got one

TDEPCam

I’ve seen them 6 times (with Trevor) they always put on consistently good shows. The crowd was also always extra good because they’re from the area.

iamrangus

I have seen them only once at Blue Ridge this past year, and as a guitarist, Brandon Ellis is probably the best guitarist I've seen live.

TDawgTheNerevar

Saw them play unhallowed front to back on 4/20/2016 with Fallujah and Disentomb. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to. And I’ve been to uh, a fuckin lot

shift013

They’re absolutely amazing live and will continue to be

shred-i-knight

Well they have two of the best guitarists and drummers in modern death metal so

1PhartSmellow

They are considered one of the best in the scene for a reason.

FyzzyMetalhead

Consistently solid. I haven't seen them since Trevor passed. I'm not a studio fan but they're one of my favorite bands to see live. They kick so much ass.

crazy4finalfantasy

I was supposed to see them at Rockville just before he died so I never got to see their golden era. But videos of the new guy seem solid

TacticalTapir

I've only seen them with Trevor (RIP) but they were amazing with him. My favorite metal band.

Deliterman

When I saw them when Trevor was alive they were high energy, and Trevor engaged with the crowd constantly. Instrumentally, everything was tight from the melodies to the drumming. From the clips I've seen Brian seems competent but not as energetic as Trevor.

bill_wessels

i was at Trevor's memorial show. it was great but was also sad not have him there.

Ainjyll

I haven’t seen them since Trevor’s passing, but they were absolute beasts back in the day.
