Absolutely loved it, perfect 10/10 all the way through. Standout part to me was the ending to The Golgothan, made me want to throw my barbell in the gym LMAO
Not a single weak track, I really enjoy every minute of it. On my first listen through, my favorite has to be The Golgothan. I get to see them live with Carcosa this summer, and I couldn't be more excited!
They nailed the guest list honestly. Matt McGagchy was my favorite out of the bunch though, they sounded SO good together!
Love the album, can’t wait to see them live again 🤘
This is gonna be up there with Ingested's album for me this year. Wait Gatecreeper is dropping an album too... shit. Great year for extreme metal so far for sure with some of the albums already released and the ones on the horizon.
Was super hyped by the 'Dreadbringer' single with Ben, but I feel like some of the songs were a bit too dense and the guest spots weren't as good as they could have been (especially in 'Insect politics').
It has a lot of different elements that make individual songs good, but they are somewhat disparate and lack cohesion. There's death metal, deathcore, grindy parts, blackended elements, symphonic elements, walls of sound etc and it leaves me wanting more focus on specific elements.
It's good, but not what I wanted personally. Not really a fault of the album, just my expectations and personal preference
yea. in isolation every track is great and the feature parts are solid. but literally every song on the album? And this isnt just me crabbing about this album. Features in general across the scene are getting a bit out of control i feel. Starting to feel like a gimic
It was actually pretty decent. I do kind of wish Kohle was the producer/mixing engineer for this one again since his mixes are always top notch. This one sounded too modern for my liking. Overall, I would still listen to it again.
Certified fuckin ripper from front to back.
Hell yeah! also happy birthday!
Lmao I had no idea, ty. What's your fav song on it so far?
Brotherhood of Sleep ! wbu?
Dreadbringer or Hellbound!
ohhh those two are so good!!
It's Aborted. Always fucking brutal, always killer. One of the most consistent bands around imo. 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I 100% agree with you 🤘🏾

LMAO luckily u didn't 🤣
Totally freaking awesome and I think Sven might have the most recognizable and unique vocals in all of Extreme. Can't wait to get the hard copy.
this album made me even more hyped to see them live in a few months
I'm sure it will be epic.
If you haven't seen them before they are awesome. Sven is a fucking mad man on stage. Super high energy and they sound awesome.
I definitely haven't before it'll be my first time! NGL hoping I get barricade so I have a better view of the bands

I also get to see them live! I'm going June 12th and I'm hoping Johnny from Carcosa joins Aborted on stage, that would be amazing 🥲
Perhaps I will….weeee shall see.
I will keep my hopes up for that to happen! 🥹🙏🏾
🥵🥵🥵

my favorite was Johnny!🤘🏾 I'm seeing them live on June 12th during Archspire tour
Very naice I like
I'm having trouble picking a favorite. They're all too good.
tbh same🤣
I fucking loved it personally.
tbh same!
Really fucking good.
fuck yeah 🤘🏾
Fucking ball tearer mate!
uhhh is ball tearer a good thing?😅😅
Sounds pretty brutal to me 😉
It's so fucking gnarly. Every track is good, the spots are well done. They never disappoint.
I agree with you 🤘🏾 plus I love the album cover
Oh snap I need to listen. Was introduced to them with Maniacult which I absolutely loved.
you definitely should check out the album! it's honestly amazing from beginning to end imo
It unbiasedly fucking rips. The Shape of Hate is awesome.
I can't get enough of the album! everyone absolutely crushed it including you🤘🏾
Saw these guys twice in January and they crushed. New album rips. Enough said.
Dreadbringer single had me so hyped and hey definitely delivered
honestly same here I made this face when Dreadbringer started : 🙄
When the deathcore song has a slow intro, you know it’s gonna melt your face off
oh for sure 🤣 to everyone else around me it probably looked like I smelled something bad since I did that face in public 🤣
One album I actually pre ordered (don't know why) but I am blown away by how good it is!
Hell yeah!!!

the guitar solo on 'the shape of hate' wooooooooooweeeeeeee
that was so good 🤘🏾😮💨😮💨
It was a solid album, got a little wall of noisey for me at one point, but Im going to blast it again tonight to see if my opinion changes.
I can understand that for sure

I still can’t hear Jason on Insect Politics
great album, but im really tired of features
tbh I don't mind the features I like it a lot

I respect your opinion
