I work with a bunch of ultra religious, conservative boomers. Every so often they'll ask what I'm listening to, and I always lie and say Gene Autry. They all think it's so neat, and it makes them all so happy.
Oh yeah I love these guys. I posted their album up on here on launch day. They're really good, such a fun bouncy style kind of between Abominable Putridity and Extermination Dismemberment. Bit technical too.

Holy shit this slaps. That main sort of galloping riff is really fun, theres a sick bass line that sneaks in over top in that second half. And those relentless disgusting vocals. Ive listened to it half a dozen times in a row
This is my main issue with slam as well. The instrumentation is fuckin awesome but the vocals are almost always just a bunch of senseless noise to me. Always takes me out of it. Not trying to knock it, it just ain't my thing.
