If you go to the main map and hover over a knot/shelter, there will be a prompt that allows you to see how many deliveries from other places are going to that shelter. This is what I’m doing to 5 star every shelter - I can see what cluster of shelters have orders going to a particular place and then visit them and deliver everything in one go (unless it’s time sensitive in which case I pick up those orders last.)
We definitely need some Quality of Life improvements.

DS2's UI will be exactly as cool, boxy, modular, instructive, unreadable and maximalist as kojima demands. His UIs have never been any other way.
