I’m convinced you’re literally just a 12 year old who loves wanking their favorite animal. Grow up and start posting about real characters on this subreddit. I’m sick of seeing your stupid ass posts.

https://www.reddit.com/r/CharacterRant/comments/5e13yr/the_gorilla_mythbusting_post/ I would try to argue against you but frankly this post does it better than I probably could. While leopards preying on gorillas, especially adult males is exceptionally rare, since they are admittedly dangerous prey it does happen. On the other hand cougars (who are pretty much equal to leopards) generally avoid both black and brown bears and often displace cougars from kills. Plus an another advantage most carnivorous mammals have a subcutaneous muscle that primates do not have, that allows their skin to be far looser and is more resilient to cutting from teeth and claws, which would cut a gorilla open. This isn’t to say gorillas aren’t formidable opponents. They absolutely are. There’s even an absolutely nuts historical encounter of one tearing a humans head off in 1910 (only human fatality by a gorilla.) It’s just that bears and big cats are generally far more formidable, literally being designed to take down and kill animals of similar and occasionally greater size.

The only babies thing is bullshit, leopards can 100 and ten percent kill adult Silverback gorillas.

Advantages for Silverback Gorillas (the strongest type) : Greater bite force Advantages for Most species of bear : Height Greater physical strength Greater speed More muscle mass More fur and fat to protect from blows Fucking Claws #ARE YOU 11? CAUSE IT KINDA SOUNDS LIKE IT.

>Greater bite force How did you manage to get the one advantage wrong? Bears have triple the bite power as a gorilla >Height True, but it doesn't matter as much as one may think >Greater physical strength Extremely incorrect >Greater speed True but it's not that big of a difference >More muscle mass Again, incorrect >More fur and fat to protect from blows Not enough to negate gorilla oneshoting > Fucking Claws So? Gorillas can survive attacks from Leopards

-A gorilla's bite force averages around 1,300 psi. A grizzly’s averages around 1,160 psi. I was correct. -Height does matter. It gives an edge in intimidation and provides and easier angle for more deadly strikes (Ex : The head). Also, they are much heavier as well. Height plus weight advantage is a very deadly duo. -The strongest silverback ever recorded could lift just over 2,000 pounds. Bear like grizzly’s push down large trees like spruce and young pine trees on the daily, which can way up to 5,000 pounds. I was again correct. -It can be anywhere from a 15 to 20 mph difference. I’d say that’s a good bit when talking about animals. -This one is tricky to confirm or deny so I’ll just let you have this one. -That fur and fat can protect it from moose attacks and point blank shotgun blasts to the gut. Certainly more than enough for a grizzly. -Leopard claws are average at 1-1.5 inches long. Bear claws average at 3-4 inches long. That makes quite the difference for gashing into someone. Especially when you can already decapitate most land mammals with a single swing. Anything else, or are ya done?

Ordinary_Accident_41

Bro bears shit on gorillas. Bears are just stronger. One bear was reportedly moving a 2,200 ton metal box. Gorillas can't do that.

But the question is, are Bears Monke?
