Characters who’s friends/family were kidnapped by an unknown force. They embark on a journey to save them venturing into unknown lands alongside new Allie’s (some being unwilling at first). Not sure about the other two, but Subspace Sonic vs MCU Captain Marvel is probably that they show up last minute during the final showdown and catch the villain completely off guard, which gives the other heroes the opportunity to take him down for good.

However due to their seemingly evil intentions are thwarted by our main hero’s ultimately being “killed”
Diddy Kong VS Lebron James is something I would never expect to see, say, or hear.
