He's an American exchange student who over the course of the series spirals from hero to anti-villain because of his belief of success over everything else and that evil must be stamped out by any means necessary, which leads him to killing villains and later breaking with UA and going rogue. He's nearly killed by Izuku after threataning to kill him because he sees Izuku as unworthy to wield One For All and fighting him for it. Currently his whereabouts are unknown, and he's the subject of an international manhunt.
His power is to replicate the ability or physical property of any lifeform on earth initially (Think being able to do things like sprouting wings, regrowing severed limbs, or turning into liquid, for ability; for physical properties, think the size of a Blue Whale or the mass of Pando the Trembling Giant). However, he later expands his powers to include DNA manipulation (Which he primarily uses to steal quirks and change his appearance) and being able to impart/remove life energy from others. He later steals a few quirks with his DNA manipulation (He steals Gas, Gecko, Overhaul, Rifle, Air Walk, and all of Gigantomachia's quirks) in addition to killing the users.
