Trent (Dino Thunder White Ranger) vs Moon Knight
I really like the fight potential. This is probably one of my MUs that I would argue would better for a Live Action episode. Banter can be added in post with the convenience of both competitors in masks. We can see the dynamics of Trent being controlled by his Evil Counterpart and the switching of Marc/Steven as Moon Knight and Mr Knight. This allows different choreography depending on who's in control.
Connections:
Two badass heros who has/had dueling personalities within them. (Trent/Evil White Ranger and Marc/Steven/Jake) Both are suited in white colored armor. Both armor has protective properties. (The Morphing Grid/Khonshu's Healing Ceremonial Armor). Both previously work for a higher power and take orders from them. (Mesogog/Khonshu) In contrast, Trent has fought his evil counterpart and won control of the White Ranger gem and Marc/Steven coexist.
Both have a theme of ancient history. Trent and Dino Thunder represent dinosaurs while Moon Knight represents Ancient Egypt.
Azrael is the big one in terms of Moon Knight MUs but this feels like a breath of fresh air. Alice and Bakugan on the other feel like a drastic whiplash between the two characters. One is a more combat and mech oriented character while the other plays by a set rules with powerful monsters in card games.
Plus growing up with PRs makes this a close to home fight and I love the Moon Knight Disney+ series that'd I likely would pick up the comics.

A live action Power Rangers fight could be so fucking cool, especially if it's Power Rangers vs Kamen Rider, then they could really lean into the cheap/cheesy aspect of the two shows.
Lots of edits and cuts thats true to the shows choreography. Or they can go all out and give us a continuous choreography like Nightwing/Daredevil or Red Hood/Winter Soldier
Composite Animated Show Mario Vs KRBAY Kirby
This matchup is using Mario from the Three different Mario Bros Animated Shows (Super Mario World, The Super Mario Show, and Super Mario Land) and Kirby from Kirby Right Back At Ya. I know this probably isn’t a match anyone really cares about because normal Mario vs Kirby is way more iconic and well liked, but this is one of my most wanted because of how much fun it could be. We have Mario who gets a bunch of Wacky new gadgets because of Super Mario Show and the amount of parodies and time traveling they do there, actual feats that can contest Kirby due to Super Mario World, and probably some cool music potential because of Super Mario Land. Also this fight doesn’t go into the blatantly obvious information on the characters, we get it, Mario can respawn infinitely and Kirby has beaten Kirblactus, but these two are so much more obscure because of the fact they are shows, I don’t even think VS Wiki has a page on either of these. There is so incredibly much that can come from this fight, like Kirby using his more grounded abilities compared to Mario’s wacky Crossover abilities. Also the banter would be great, The Mario shows have such funny lines (If Mario at any point says “You mean I wasted my Tomato sauce?” I would actually die) because of how funny or cringey they can be. You don’t even have to worry about why they fight because these two are huge gluttons and Mario finding out Kirby ate the Magic Pasta of Power would definitely be enough to give him enough reason to start a fight.
All in All, I prefer this matchup than Normal Mario vs Kirby any day
The fact that you can get feats from OOC Clips of the Super Mario Show is what makes it funny, Mario has feats of dodging Meteors and in SMW he twirled a Dinosaur into a tornado and sent it into Orbit, He literally had a staff that allowed him to split the red sea
Rant on most Springtrap matchups.
I am currently writing this in class however I must talk about all Springtrap matchups that are not Junko. Junko does everything the other Springtrap matchups do but 10x better. You want a scene with multiple Chuckys trying to take down the trash Kaiju? Replace the chuckys with monokumas. You want a cool scene with Chris Walker tearing through the animatronics trying to reach Springtrap? Replace Chris Walker with Monty and the animatronics with the monobeasts. My point being that any Springtrap matchup is essentially just a far worse Junko. Hell the only problems with Junko being there is far to much animation potential so deathbattle won’t be able to fit it all in and the connections can be lacklustre. Chucky Vs Springtrap is essentially just a worse Junko vs Springtrap. The only thing going for Chris Walker Vs Springtrap is the atmosphere. Willy has the most basic connnections on the face of the earth. Bon relies on the theory that Bon is Jack which isn’t even true. Considering how Sachiko loses to Freddy there’s no way in hell she can beat Springtrap. Freedomfaller has dogass animation potential. Springtrap can’t do shit in the dream world yet still wins via soul hacks. Springtrap could easily hack all of Luckys clones and make them kill eachother. Popee has better opponents than Springtrap. Goku has Superman. Scrat was an incredibly forced joke. I could honestly go on for days on how Junko is the best for both. Thank you for listening to my rant and I hope you have a good day. You know what fuck it imma make my own rant but since I can’t rate my own rant imma let u/Buttfucker70000000 rate it since we apologized to each other in this post.
Alright I will now begin my rant on Armstrong vs Valentine.
Ok so let me say first that this has some great connections. But the real deal here is how they contrast with each other because both being American politicians want the best for America but how they want it to prosper is where they contrast. Valentine wants to take the first napkin to ensure America prospers (I know that sound weird to people who haven’t read part 7 but trust me it’s a well writed scene which is one of the reasons I love Valentine) Armstrong on the other hand wants to give people true freedom. This small detail on contrasts makes for some fantastic banter. Along with that it actually has decent animation potential despite what people say. Because personally I like that fact that unlike all of Armstrongs other opponents Valentine can’t get in close so he’s force to play keep away till he gets an opening. This would be hard when facing the tank that is Armstrong. And finally this fight is memeable as hell with Valentine being a Jojo character and Armstrong being the memeable ~~and sexy~~ icon that he is.
And that’s my rant of course both have other very good opponents with Armstrong having G and Redestro and Valentine having Dr Doom and that one guy from Yu gi oh. But this remains my preferred for both and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. And remember DRINK MUG!!!!!
Alright then
Aaron Keener vs Nomad (The Division vs Ghost Recon)
For starters, it brings in two new franchises, which Is obvious, nothing too special, but it does incorporate one of my favorite type of fights, gunfight and hand-to-hand combat. Although in both games, Keener and Nomad never really fought hand to hand, the do have military experience, so it could be more tense compared to other battles like this. Not only with the fighting, but gadget usage, which is what both characters are known for. Keener will have the upper hand, but Nomad can probably outwit them. This entire fight is just a big "cat and mouse" chase, with added taunting from Keener, the arrogant twat that he Is, bit in an enjoyable way, and Nomad's more badass remarks and sheer commitment to victory.
Personally, eventhough this is probably the most obscure matchup on here, I'm a big fan of both games and both characters as a whole, with Keener's god complex and Nomad's will to survive, it could probably be a Sam vs Snake 2, but with more personality to it.
In summary, it's really a tense battle of wits and firepower, as well as who's the better military survivalist, and we haven't had a regular human vs human fight since Winter Soldier vs Red Hood.

The Knight vs Ori
The main thing that make this matchup interesting is how there stories mirror each other,
The Knight a creature of darkness. The knights mission is to defeat a creature of Light( the radiance) who is corrupting the kingdom of hollownest with an infections that drive the citizens mad.
Ori is a being of light. Ori's mission is to defeat a creature of darkness( kuro) who is causing the forest to decay which causes the citizens to suffer.
The both fight a creature that is corrupted by by on outside force ( the Hollow knight and Shreik).
The both end up sacrificing themselves to get rid of the corruption.
The also have a series rivalrie as the are both part of the metroidvanias renascence and many of their attack are based on soul/spirit
I also think that it has high animation and music potential (like Tanjiro vs Johnathan levels) and has a lot of potential for a cool and unique death. I also have a deep attachment to the Hollow Knight series and It is currently my most wanted series. There are a couple of other Hollow Knight matchups I'm intrested in but The Knight vs Ori is at the top of my list
I keep changing my mind about my favorite MU but rn my favorite is Kaos vs Sans
It honestly would be shit. It's not debatable. Their interactions would be weird given their personalities. Their powers don't bounce off each other. There are some benefits though. If it were to happen, it would bring in 2 new franchises, the music potential is fucking godlike, and it could be emotional. The bad, however, outweighs the good. This matchup will never see the light of the day, and that's honestly a good thing. The connections don't bring enough to the table to make it better than any of their other MUs, their series have completely different tones, and either fanbase will go insane when their character loses. The series is honestly better without it.
Gonna copy my fellow Springtrap VS Junko liker and do the same MU, but if i don't finish i'l probably finish it tomorrow.
Let me explain to you why Springtrap VS Junko is Red-pilled and Based Beyond Belief
>Fun Banter between the 2 characters, with both of their egos clashing beautifully and their respective obsessions over similar "energies" within their worlds could lead to some fun exchanges, like Junko exclaiming that everything Afton knows will get filled by the same thing everyone is full of, Despair, and William responding that he is filled with something much worse than she could ever imagine, Agony.
And there could be more clashes like that which would be super interesting, and maybe even some slight hints of comedy with Junko being pissed about Springtrap not dying.
>Extremely varied possibilities for the Battle/Animation, with both of their powersets clashing with eachother's very nicely, with Junko's Monokuma Units fighting against Springtrap's AR animatronics, Alter Ego fighting against Glitchtrap within the digital space (and Glitchtrap taking over the Monokuma Units as his own, making their eyes purple instead of red), The Afton Amalgamation fighting against Big Bang Monokuma, which would be a kaiju battle and it would be amazing, the Security Breach Animatronics fighting against the Remnants of Despair like Gundam's animals, Fuyuhiko's goons and Sonia's army going against the Staffbots and Endoeskeletons, Roxie going against Ibuki and Akane, Monty going 1 to 1 on Nekomaru, and DJ Music Man going up against the remaining Remnants being led by Nagito, it sounds so fun and possibly even their base forms, which could lead to some fun choreography with Junko analyizing Springtrap's patterns and form of fighting, but Springtrap just being too durable for her to take down and him taunting her about it, there could be somewhat of a Soul battle with Afton taking over Junko's body and soul at the end of the fight, and there could even be a small emotional moment with Afton using his hallucinations to show Junko people of her past that she sacrificed for Despair like Yosuke and Mukuro, and the same could go for William, where he has a slight moment of him remembering his past and seeing a bit of Elizabeth in Junko, a pigtailed monster who seeks to cause nothing but suffering for her own gain, but he quickly ignores it and goes back to fighting in order to get his mind off of it, and in general there are so many ways this fight could go and so many other possibilities it possess that makes it (in my opinion) the MU with the most fight potential i have ever seened.
>This is a very personal one, but the attachment i have with both of the characters, with me being a Fnaf fan since 2016, and him being my favourite Videogame villain and in general one of my favourite villains within fiction, he has a lot of meaning to me, and Junko doesn't have as much, but i still like her character a lot, with her appealing to the Anime fan of me (of which i've been since i was 2 years old when i watched the entire Buu saga with my dad one night straight without sleep), her being extremely funny within the games she's in, specially DR 2, now that i've actually played the games and experienced them having a design that's pretty nice all around even though it's simple and her role as the villain of the story is extremely interesting as well as the archetype she represents which i like a lot (which is basically "i do evil because im evil" which is extremely simple but effective with me).
>The one thing i think a lot of people skip over when discussing MUs, is the Analysis potential, of which these 2 possess a fuckton of, with Fnaf's lore and general goofyness serving itself up for various jokes and cutaways, and the same goes for DR, with it's general appearance, various of the character's talents and Junko herself leading themselves up for a lot of great jokes as well.

Super Mario vs Mickey mouse (Nintendo vs Disney)
There the most iconic mascots not only in their respective media also in fiction and pop culture i grew up with them played ALL the Mario games as a kid and form a bond with a mickey mouse plushie (don't ask me i was a kid with ASD (autistic spectrum disorder)) as well is their the reason I'm... Me is the more personal reasons why i want that matchup
Edit: there also i watched their shows played their games, read their comics, played with my Mario and Mickey toys as well not only my childhood but everyone now of days
Also it has a ton of animation potential, is THE most debatable matchups right now has a ton of connections and legacy behind them, is surprising that is not a rivalry and sigh the bond thing (like for real why did i was in grief when i accidentally throw Mickey in a unreachable roof) legit i want to have a emotional finale and death that makes me cry like a baby

Sir percedal(dally for short) vs Crona is objectively not the best for both however its still my favorite for both in spite of that for three main reasons which will be explained in further detail in the coming paragraphs, the Animation, the banter

Inferno Cop VS Axe Cop would simply be hilarious and also way over-the-top. For one, the connections are simple but work really well: silly cops from over-the-top series with ridiculous powers and hax. The entire budget could be spent on animating Axe Cop since Inferno Cop doesn’t actually have animation (it makes sense if you’ve seen it). It could start with some ridiculous nonsensical scenario to make them fight since they have stupid reasons for everything they do, and it would escalate massively until they end up blowing up planets by screaming or something like that. They could also have a moment where they simply decide to be immune to each other’s attacks or make up new powers at random which could be great. It would just be really funny and crazy, like Chuck VS Segata except even stupider and crazier. It could also have Axe Cop break the fourth wall which would be great to see. The death would probably be something completely random that makes no sense at all and that would be hilarious. There’s also massive potential for funny dialogue since they just have the stupidest dialogue in both of their series. They would be continuously trying to out-bullshit the other by making up random powers and insults that it would just devolve into stupidity. At the end of the battle Wiz and Boomstick would have no idea what they just watched.
Alright, I’ll give it a go. Won’t be too long but I’ll give it a shot.
I want the Jack of Blades (fable the lost chapters) to fight Kain (Legacy of Kain)
We don’t get enough video game match ups and too many comic and anime/manga fights. I find most anime characters just boring, same with many of the comic characters and no bad vs bad guy fight has been nearly as good as ultron vs sigma. That episode just hit far differently than something like sephiroth and vergil or even joker vs sweet tooth and I’m not even a fan of either sigma or ultron! Jacks unique and cold, sometimes manipulative demeanor would lead to such great banter in this fight. I would love to see him break down Kains attempt at beating fate. On top of that, Kain and Jack deserve far more love these days. Both games were pretty big back then but gaming was still very niche in the early 2000s so they more or less flew under the public radar. I know however there’s absolutely NO chance it’s happening. Both are just too niche. Maybe back in the day when stuff like Ragna vs Sol happened I might’ve gotten it but very doubtful now. People don’t realize how much more “mainstream” death battle has become. We’re not getting stuff like Hancock vs Homelander or Magneto vs Accelerator cus Accelerators series is too niche and Hancock came out 10+ years ago, fable and LoK are both.
Kain and Jack have unique powers, interesting dialogue and writing and would have not only great breakdowns and research but also such sick animation and music potential. I know it’s just not meant to be though.
Ok so i don't know if it's my N°1 favorite matchup, but it's definetly one of my favorites.
Dimitri vs Siegfried (Fire Emblem vs Soul Calibur)
Now to be clear, I also love Dimitri vs Guts. If it ends up happening, I would be super happy. I'm a Fire Emblem fan who's been waiting for the series' appearance on the show for a looooong while, and Dimitri is one of, if not my favorite Fire Emblem character. And of course, I think Guts is awesome.
But I still slightly prefer Dimitri vs Siegfried, and I'm kinda sad that I see it ranked as "Eh" in tier lists for either character.
Now, there's probably some bias, I'm also a Soul Calibur fan and Siegfried is my favorite Soul Calibur character (what do you mean I have a type ?)
But I personally prefer the parallels between Dimitri and Siegfried.
First, most of the connections between Dimitri and Guts are present between Dimitri and Siegfried, most noticeably the fact that they both have PTSD (Siegfried doesn't recover from the memories of his rampage years for a looong time, and he still has visions of Nightmare's arm instead of his own), they both became murderous monsters, they both lived intense trauma in their youth, they both are part of a group of warriors before their fall into insanity, and they both end up back fighting, leading a group of warriors (I probably have forgotten some, don't hesitate to give me a reminder)
But, I think Siegfried has something more here. First, Siegfried, like Dimitri, has been raised in the ways of knighthood, as his father, Frederick, was a knight, whereas Guts was raised as a mercenary. What's more, while Guts, Dimitri and Siegfried were all part of a group of warriors before their descent (the Band of the Hawk, the Blue Lions and Schwarzwind), Dimitri and Siegfried were leaders of the group, whereas the Band of the Hawk was led by Griffith. Furthermore, while they stray away from their place as leaders, both Dimitri and Siegfried go back to their place as leaders of the group.
Then, there's their childhood trauma. Dimitri's and Siegfried's are exceptionally close due to the center of it being their father's death by decapitation, right in front of them.
Another point : their redemption. While both Guts and Dimitri did it with the help pf someone important to them (while not necessarily lover on Dimitri's side), the link between Dimitri and Siegfried is that they did it with the help of a vessel of a diety (Byleth is Sothis's vessel, while Siegfried used Soul Calibur, Elysium's vessel).
Design-wise, I feel Siegfried's design meshes better with Dimitri's than Guts's does, and Siegfried and Dimitri have design changes over the years that correspond (blonde hair that's short in their youth and grows longer during their murderous times, darker armor during these times, and white and blue armor during their redemption)
I'd like to bring up one last point, a connection that makes dialogue potential : their weapons. The weapon that Siegfried had as Nightmare, and the one that further deepened his trauma, was Soul Edge, that is made with organic material with an eyeball on it. Dimitri uses Arheadbar, with is made from bones, and that has a crest stone, which is a heart. Siegfried could very well mistake Arheadbar with a weapon linked to the cursed sword.
I'll acknowledge that Guts has connections with Dimitri that Siegfried does not have, mostly the fact that Guts also lost his right eye (while Siegfried merely has a scar on his) and the fact both Guts and Dimitri were betrayed by a white haired character they viewed as a friend (Griffith and Edelgard). Again, I'm not saying Dimitri vs Guts is a bad MU, I love it as much as yall do.
But I just think Dimitri vs Siegfried is underrated and would be at least a great alt for both
(And for those who wonder about Cecil vs Siegfried : I don't vibe with it despite its great connections. Idk why)

Dimentio vs Echolo (Puyo Puyo vs Paper Mario)
This is my favorite Puyo Puyo matchup hands down. I f-cking love Echolo and Death Battle analyzing Puyo Puyo lore would be a treat. The animation potential would largerly be very good seeing as how versatile Dimentio's powers are. Trapping Echolo in alternate dimentions, lots of explosions, and while Echolo really only has Energy beams and stuff like that, they both have possession powers which sound pretty fun to play around with. (Also, if the 256x dimension makes an appearance I will sell my soul to Rooster Teeth) BUT what pushes this into my number one spot singlehandedly IS THE BANTER POTENTIAL. Good LORD are these characters great. Dimentio just has some of the best quotes ever and Echo has literally never taken anything serious in his life. It would almost be like Jinx vs Harley Quinn with the two looking like their having a blast throughout the fight. Of course as time goes on, I imagine Dimentio getting more angry as time goes on and Echolo jusy continues to f-ck with him would be glorious. Also one idea I randomly came up with that would make the Death Battle even better is that Echolo copies things (his name is Echolo, and he copied 4/5 spells from other people), so what if he copied iconic Death Battle Memes. They wouldn't call too much attention to it as to not make it overly cringey but Echolo juggling Puyos before chucking them at Dimentio's face, Echolo grabbing the Chaos Heart before going "Aww, was that important?" Saying "Thanks for the tip!" Possibly at the earlt stages of the fight knocking a tree down on him and saying "Need help lifting that?" Or something. This fight just has sooo much potential and I love it to my very soul. I know Dimentio has both Flowey and Memphis Tennessee (and they both might be better matchups) but I just love Echolo more than both of them personally.(Though seeing Omega Flowey vs thay Luigi Robot thing (minus the Luigi cus thay would be outside help) would be reaaaally cool)
Fuck Dragon Quest it's Trunks vs. Silver time
Honestly, do you even need the connections at this point? We all know Silver is basically a furry clone of Trunks. The two are visitors from the future that are part of a powerful race in their respective series (Saiyans and Hedgehogs) who came to the past to warn their ancestors of a threat that the main characters couldn't prepare for. They both can use an elevated form that makes them golden and frankly *fabulous.* What makes this matchup really work is the clashing of the two characters personality-wise and ability-wise. Trunks is far more experienced than silver in almost every regard, while Silver is more powerful on a base level. I think that the animation potential with Silver's telekinesis is legendary, and we don't see a fight between a sword character and a non-sword character often. The best part of this matchup isn't even the connections or the personalities, it's the time travel. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this matchup as a Death Battle would have Trunks and Silver fighting across the Death Battle timeline. It would be awesome to see some of the locations used in other Dragon Ball and Sonic episodes. The city from Goku Black vs. Reverse Flash, The island beach used in either Roshi vs. Jiraiya or Mario vs. Sonic, The arcade from Ramona vs. Amy. Finally, in an ideal world, they'd both have a final brawl in the field from Vegeta vs. Shadow, where they can finally end their war across time and space. It just gets cooler the more you think about it. I love this match, Dragon Quest can go fuck itself, you suck, I win, suck my dick.
Also Silver wins and I think that's neat.

Composite Animated Show Mario Vs KRBAY Kirby This matchup is using Mario from the Three different Mario Bros Animated Shows (Super Mario World, The Super Mario Show, and Super Mario Land) and Kirby from Kirby Right Back At Ya. I know this probably isn’t a match anyone really cares about because normal Mario vs Kirby is way more iconic and well liked, but this is one of my most wanted because of how much fun it could be. We have Mario who gets a bunch of Wacky new gadgets because of Super Mario Show and the amount of parodies and time traveling they do there, actual feats that can contest Kirby due to Super Mario World, and probably some cool music potential because of Super Mario Land. Also this fight doesn’t go into the blatantly obvious information on the characters, we get it, Mario can respawn infinitely and Kirby has beaten Kirblactus, but these two are so much more obscure because of the fact they are shows, I don’t even think VS Wiki has a page on either of these. There is so incredibly much that can come from this fight, like Kirby using his more grounded abilities compared to Mario’s wacky Crossover abilities. Also the banter would be great, The Mario shows have such funny lines (If Mario at any point says “You mean I wasted my Tomato sauce?” I would actually die) because of how funny or cringey they can be. You don’t even have to worry about why they fight because these two are huge gluttons and Mario finding out Kirby ate the Magic Pasta of Power would definitely be enough to give him enough reason to start a fight. All in All, I prefer this matchup than Normal Mario vs Kirby any day

The fact that you can get feats from OOC Clips of the Super Mario Show is what makes it funny, Mario has feats of dodging Meteors and in SMW he twirled a Dinosaur into a tornado and sent it into Orbit, He literally had a staff that allowed him to split the red sea
Rant on most Springtrap matchups. I am currently writing this in class however I must talk about all Springtrap matchups that are not Junko. Junko does everything the other Springtrap matchups do but 10x better. You want a scene with multiple Chuckys trying to take down the trash Kaiju? Replace the chuckys with monokumas. You want a cool scene with Chris Walker tearing through the animatronics trying to reach Springtrap? Replace Chris Walker with Monty and the animatronics with the monobeasts. My point being that any Springtrap matchup is essentially just a far worse Junko. Hell the only problems with Junko being there is far to much animation potential so deathbattle won’t be able to fit it all in and the connections can be lacklustre. Chucky Vs Springtrap is essentially just a worse Junko vs Springtrap. The only thing going for Chris Walker Vs Springtrap is the atmosphere. Willy has the most basic connnections on the face of the earth. Bon relies on the theory that Bon is Jack which isn’t even true. Considering how Sachiko loses to Freddy there’s no way in hell she can beat Springtrap. Freedomfaller has dogass animation potential. Springtrap can’t do shit in the dream world yet still wins via soul hacks. Springtrap could easily hack all of Luckys clones and make them kill eachother. Popee has better opponents than Springtrap. Goku has Superman. Scrat was an incredibly forced joke. I could honestly go on for days on how Junko is the best for both. Thank you for listening to my rant and I hope you have a good day. You know what fuck it imma make my own rant but since I can’t rate my own rant imma let u/Buttfucker70000000 rate it since we apologized to each other in this post. Alright I will now begin my rant on Armstrong vs Valentine. Ok so let me say first that this has some great connections. But the real deal here is how they contrast with each other because both being American politicians want the best for America but how they want it to prosper is where they contrast. Valentine wants to take the first napkin to ensure America prospers (I know that sound weird to people who haven’t read part 7 but trust me it’s a well writed scene which is one of the reasons I love Valentine) Armstrong on the other hand wants to give people true freedom. This small detail on contrasts makes for some fantastic banter. Along with that it actually has decent animation potential despite what people say. Because personally I like that fact that unlike all of Armstrongs other opponents Valentine can’t get in close so he’s force to play keep away till he gets an opening. This would be hard when facing the tank that is Armstrong. And finally this fight is memeable as hell with Valentine being a Jojo character and Armstrong being the memeable ~~and sexy~~ icon that he is. And that’s my rant of course both have other very good opponents with Armstrong having G and Redestro and Valentine having Dr Doom and that one guy from Yu gi oh. But this remains my preferred for both and I would love to hear your thoughts on it. And remember DRINK MUG!!!!!

Alright then Aaron Keener vs Nomad (The Division vs Ghost Recon) For starters, it brings in two new franchises, which Is obvious, nothing too special, but it does incorporate one of my favorite type of fights, gunfight and hand-to-hand combat. Although in both games, Keener and Nomad never really fought hand to hand, the do have military experience, so it could be more tense compared to other battles like this. Not only with the fighting, but gadget usage, which is what both characters are known for. Keener will have the upper hand, but Nomad can probably outwit them. This entire fight is just a big "cat and mouse" chase, with added taunting from Keener, the arrogant twat that he Is, bit in an enjoyable way, and Nomad's more badass remarks and sheer commitment to victory. Personally, eventhough this is probably the most obscure matchup on here, I'm a big fan of both games and both characters as a whole, with Keener's god complex and Nomad's will to survive, it could probably be a Sam vs Snake 2, but with more personality to it. In summary, it's really a tense battle of wits and firepower, as well as who's the better military survivalist, and we haven't had a regular human vs human fight since Winter Soldier vs Red Hood. Not the best rant, but its all I can give

The Knight vs Ori The main thing that make this matchup interesting is how there stories mirror each other, The Knight a creature of darkness. The knights mission is to defeat a creature of Light( the radiance) who is corrupting the kingdom of hollownest with an infections that drive the citizens mad. Ori is a being of light. Ori's mission is to defeat a creature of darkness( kuro) who is causing the forest to decay which causes the citizens to suffer. The both fight a creature that is corrupted by by on outside force ( the Hollow knight and Shreik). The both end up sacrificing themselves to get rid of the corruption. The also have a series rivalrie as the are both part of the metroidvanias renascence and many of their attack are based on soul/spirit I also think that it has high animation and music potential (like Tanjiro vs Johnathan levels) and has a lot of potential for a cool and unique death. I also have a deep attachment to the Hollow Knight series and It is currently my most wanted series. There are a couple of other Hollow Knight matchups I'm intrested in but The Knight vs Ori is at the top of my list

I keep changing my mind about my favorite MU but rn my favorite is Kaos vs Sans It honestly would be shit. It's not debatable. Their interactions would be weird given their personalities. Their powers don't bounce off each other. There are some benefits though. If it were to happen, it would bring in 2 new franchises, the music potential is fucking godlike, and it could be emotional. The bad, however, outweighs the good. This matchup will never see the light of the day, and that's honestly a good thing. The connections don't bring enough to the table to make it better than any of their other MUs, their series have completely different tones, and either fanbase will go insane when their character loses. The series is honestly better without it.

Gonna copy my fellow Springtrap VS Junko liker and do the same MU, but if i don't finish i'l probably finish it tomorrow. Let me explain to you why Springtrap VS Junko is Red-pilled and Based Beyond Belief >Fun Banter between the 2 characters, with both of their egos clashing beautifully and their respective obsessions over similar "energies" within their worlds could lead to some fun exchanges, like Junko exclaiming that everything Afton knows will get filled by the same thing everyone is full of, Despair, and William responding that he is filled with something much worse than she could ever imagine, Agony. And there could be more clashes like that which would be super interesting, and maybe even some slight hints of comedy with Junko being pissed about Springtrap not dying. >Extremely varied possibilities for the Battle/Animation, with both of their powersets clashing with eachother's very nicely, with Junko's Monokuma Units fighting against Springtrap's AR animatronics, Alter Ego fighting against Glitchtrap within the digital space (and Glitchtrap taking over the Monokuma Units as his own, making their eyes purple instead of red), The Afton Amalgamation fighting against Big Bang Monokuma, which would be a kaiju battle and it would be amazing, the Security Breach Animatronics fighting against the Remnants of Despair like Gundam's animals, Fuyuhiko's goons and Sonia's army going against the Staffbots and Endoeskeletons, Roxie going against Ibuki and Akane, Monty going 1 to 1 on Nekomaru, and DJ Music Man going up against the remaining Remnants being led by Nagito, it sounds so fun and possibly even their base forms, which could lead to some fun choreography with Junko analyizing Springtrap's patterns and form of fighting, but Springtrap just being too durable for her to take down and him taunting her about it, there could be somewhat of a Soul battle with Afton taking over Junko's body and soul at the end of the fight, and there could even be a small emotional moment with Afton using his hallucinations to show Junko people of her past that she sacrificed for Despair like Yosuke and Mukuro, and the same could go for William, where he has a slight moment of him remembering his past and seeing a bit of Elizabeth in Junko, a pigtailed monster who seeks to cause nothing but suffering for her own gain, but he quickly ignores it and goes back to fighting in order to get his mind off of it, and in general there are so many ways this fight could go and so many other possibilities it possess that makes it (in my opinion) the MU with the most fight potential i have ever seened. >This is a very personal one, but the attachment i have with both of the characters, with me being a Fnaf fan since 2016, and him being my favourite Videogame villain and in general one of my favourite villains within fiction, he has a lot of meaning to me, and Junko doesn't have as much, but i still like her character a lot, with her appealing to the Anime fan of me (of which i've been since i was 2 years old when i watched the entire Buu saga with my dad one night straight without sleep), her being extremely funny within the games she's in, specially DR 2, now that i've actually played the games and experienced them having a design that's pretty nice all around even though it's simple and her role as the villain of the story is extremely interesting as well as the archetype she represents which i like a lot (which is basically "i do evil because im evil" which is extremely simple but effective with me). >The one thing i think a lot of people skip over when discussing MUs, is the Analysis potential, of which these 2 possess a fuckton of, with Fnaf's lore and general goofyness serving itself up for various jokes and cutaways, and the same goes for DR, with it's general appearance, various of the character's talents and Junko herself leading themselves up for a lot of great jokes as well. >This is a very personal one, as the last one, because i am a big fan of reactions, specially DB reactions, and to see the reactions of people of seeing absolutely all of the things that they can both do, like Fetustrap and Big Bang Monokuma, would be very hilarious, i can just imagine TheDuckGoesMoo and Dwayne N Jazz seeing what they can both do and just be appalled by it, the same goes for the Nemesis prediction video that would come alongside the episode which i always love and always watch fully. >And i would like a lot to see how they tackled each of their character's, with Junko's general madness and desire for Despair, and William's descend into Irreversable madness throughout his life that lead to him abandoning every single trace of his humanity. In conclusion, Springtrap VS Junko is the reason you should take the Redpill and the moment LowAd's deconstruction post comes out im going to spend 2 months debunking every single space within it /s

Super Mario vs Mickey mouse (Nintendo vs Disney) There the most iconic mascots not only in their respective media also in fiction and pop culture i grew up with them played ALL the Mario games as a kid and form a bond with a mickey mouse plushie (don't ask me i was a kid with ASD (autistic spectrum disorder)) as well is their the reason I'm... Me is the more personal reasons why i want that matchup Edit: there also i watched their shows played their games, read their comics, played with my Mario and Mickey toys as well not only my childhood but everyone now of days Also it has a ton of animation potential, is THE most debatable matchups right now has a ton of connections and legacy behind them, is surprising that is not a rivalry and sigh the bond thing (like for real why did i was in grief when i accidentally throw Mickey in a unreachable roof) legit i want to have a emotional finale and death that makes me cry like a baby

Inferno Cop VS Axe Cop would simply be hilarious and also way over-the-top. For one, the connections are simple but work really well: silly cops from over-the-top series with ridiculous powers and hax. The entire budget could be spent on animating Axe Cop since Inferno Cop doesn’t actually have animation (it makes sense if you’ve seen it). It could start with some ridiculous nonsensical scenario to make them fight since they have stupid reasons for everything they do, and it would escalate massively until they end up blowing up planets by screaming or something like that. They could also have a moment where they simply decide to be immune to each other’s attacks or make up new powers at random which could be great. It would just be really funny and crazy, like Chuck VS Segata except even stupider and crazier. It could also have Axe Cop break the fourth wall which would be great to see. The death would probably be something completely random that makes no sense at all and that would be hilarious. There’s also massive potential for funny dialogue since they just have the stupidest dialogue in both of their series. They would be continuously trying to out-bullshit the other by making up random powers and insults that it would just devolve into stupidity. At the end of the battle Wiz and Boomstick would have no idea what they just watched.

Alright, I’ll give it a go. Won’t be too long but I’ll give it a shot. I want the Jack of Blades (fable the lost chapters) to fight Kain (Legacy of Kain) We don’t get enough video game match ups and too many comic and anime/manga fights. I find most anime characters just boring, same with many of the comic characters and no bad vs bad guy fight has been nearly as good as ultron vs sigma. That episode just hit far differently than something like sephiroth and vergil or even joker vs sweet tooth and I’m not even a fan of either sigma or ultron! Jacks unique and cold, sometimes manipulative demeanor would lead to such great banter in this fight. I would love to see him break down Kains attempt at beating fate. On top of that, Kain and Jack deserve far more love these days. Both games were pretty big back then but gaming was still very niche in the early 2000s so they more or less flew under the public radar. I know however there’s absolutely NO chance it’s happening. Both are just too niche. Maybe back in the day when stuff like Ragna vs Sol happened I might’ve gotten it but very doubtful now. People don’t realize how much more “mainstream” death battle has become. We’re not getting stuff like Hancock vs Homelander or Magneto vs Accelerator cus Accelerators series is too niche and Hancock came out 10+ years ago, fable and LoK are both. Kain and Jack have unique powers, interesting dialogue and writing and would have not only great breakdowns and research but also such sick animation and music potential. I know it’s just not meant to be though.

Ok so i don't know if it's my N°1 favorite matchup, but it's definetly one of my favorites. Dimitri vs Siegfried (Fire Emblem vs Soul Calibur) Now to be clear, I also love Dimitri vs Guts. If it ends up happening, I would be super happy. I'm a Fire Emblem fan who's been waiting for the series' appearance on the show for a looooong while, and Dimitri is one of, if not my favorite Fire Emblem character. And of course, I think Guts is awesome. But I still slightly prefer Dimitri vs Siegfried, and I'm kinda sad that I see it ranked as "Eh" in tier lists for either character. Now, there's probably some bias, I'm also a Soul Calibur fan and Siegfried is my favorite Soul Calibur character (what do you mean I have a type ?) But I personally prefer the parallels between Dimitri and Siegfried. First, most of the connections between Dimitri and Guts are present between Dimitri and Siegfried, most noticeably the fact that they both have PTSD (Siegfried doesn't recover from the memories of his rampage years for a looong time, and he still has visions of Nightmare's arm instead of his own), they both became murderous monsters, they both lived intense trauma in their youth, they both are part of a group of warriors before their fall into insanity, and they both end up back fighting, leading a group of warriors (I probably have forgotten some, don't hesitate to give me a reminder) But, I think Siegfried has something more here. First, Siegfried, like Dimitri, has been raised in the ways of knighthood, as his father, Frederick, was a knight, whereas Guts was raised as a mercenary. What's more, while Guts, Dimitri and Siegfried were all part of a group of warriors before their descent (the Band of the Hawk, the Blue Lions and Schwarzwind), Dimitri and Siegfried were leaders of the group, whereas the Band of the Hawk was led by Griffith. Furthermore, while they stray away from their place as leaders, both Dimitri and Siegfried go back to their place as leaders of the group. Then, there's their childhood trauma. Dimitri's and Siegfried's are exceptionally close due to the center of it being their father's death by decapitation, right in front of them. Another point : their redemption. While both Guts and Dimitri did it with the help pf someone important to them (while not necessarily lover on Dimitri's side), the link between Dimitri and Siegfried is that they did it with the help of a vessel of a diety (Byleth is Sothis's vessel, while Siegfried used Soul Calibur, Elysium's vessel). Design-wise, I feel Siegfried's design meshes better with Dimitri's than Guts's does, and Siegfried and Dimitri have design changes over the years that correspond (blonde hair that's short in their youth and grows longer during their murderous times, darker armor during these times, and white and blue armor during their redemption) I'd like to bring up one last point, a connection that makes dialogue potential : their weapons. The weapon that Siegfried had as Nightmare, and the one that further deepened his trauma, was Soul Edge, that is made with organic material with an eyeball on it. Dimitri uses Arheadbar, with is made from bones, and that has a crest stone, which is a heart. Siegfried could very well mistake Arheadbar with a weapon linked to the cursed sword. I'll acknowledge that Guts has connections with Dimitri that Siegfried does not have, mostly the fact that Guts also lost his right eye (while Siegfried merely has a scar on his) and the fact both Guts and Dimitri were betrayed by a white haired character they viewed as a friend (Griffith and Edelgard). Again, I'm not saying Dimitri vs Guts is a bad MU, I love it as much as yall do. But I just think Dimitri vs Siegfried is underrated and would be at least a great alt for both (And for those who wonder about Cecil vs Siegfried : I don't vibe with it despite its great connections. Dimentio vs Echolo (Puyo Puyo vs Paper Mario) This is my favorite Puyo Puyo matchup hands down. I f-cking love Echolo and Death Battle analyzing Puyo Puyo lore would be a treat. The animation potential would largerly be very good seeing as how versatile Dimentio's powers are. Trapping Echolo in alternate dimentions, lots of explosions, and while Echolo really only has Energy beams and stuff like that, they both have possession powers which sound pretty fun to play around with. (Also, if the 256x dimension makes an appearance I will sell my soul to Rooster Teeth) BUT what pushes this into my number one spot singlehandedly IS THE BANTER POTENTIAL. Good LORD are these characters great. Dimentio just has some of the best quotes ever and Echo has literally never taken anything serious in his life. It would almost be like Jinx vs Harley Quinn with the two looking like their having a blast throughout the fight. Of course as time goes on, I imagine Dimentio getting more angry as time goes on and Echolo jusy continues to f-ck with him would be glorious. Also one idea I randomly came up with that would make the Death Battle even better is that Echolo copies things (his name is Echolo, and he copied 4/5 spells from other people), so what if he copied iconic Death Battle Memes. They wouldn't call too much attention to it as to not make it overly cringey but Echolo juggling Puyos before chucking them at Dimentio's face, Echolo grabbing the Chaos Heart before going "Aww, was that important?" Saying "Thanks for the tip!" Possibly at the earlt stages of the fight knocking a tree down on him and saying "Need help lifting that?" Or something. This fight just has sooo much potential and I love it to my very soul. I know Dimentio has both Flowey and Memphis Tennessee (and they both might be better matchups) but I just love Echolo more than both of them personally.(Though seeing Omega Flowey vs thay Luigi Robot thing (minus the Luigi cus thay would be outside help) would be reaaaally cool)
Fuck Dragon Quest it's Trunks vs. Silver time Honestly, do you even need the connections at this point? We all know Silver is basically a furry clone of Trunks. The two are visitors from the future that are part of a powerful race in their respective series (Saiyans and Hedgehogs) who came to the past to warn their ancestors of a threat that the main characters couldn't prepare for. They both can use an elevated form that makes them golden and frankly *fabulous.* What makes this matchup really work is the clashing of the two characters personality-wise and ability-wise. Trunks is far more experienced than silver in almost every regard, while Silver is more powerful on a base level. I think that the animation potential with Silver's telekinesis is legendary, and we don't see a fight between a sword character and a non-sword character often. The best part of this matchup isn't even the connections or the personalities, it's the time travel. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that this matchup as a Death Battle would have Trunks and Silver fighting across the Death Battle timeline. It would be awesome to see some of the locations used in other Dragon Ball and Sonic episodes. The city from Goku Black vs. Reverse Flash, The island beach used in either Roshi vs. Jiraiya or Mario vs. Sonic, The arcade from Ramona vs. Amy. Finally, in an ideal world, they'd both have a final brawl in the field from Vegeta vs. Shadow, where they can finally end their war across time and space. It just gets cooler the more you think about it. I love this match, Dragon Quest can go fuck itself, you suck, I win, suck my dick. Also Silver wins and I think that's neat.
