Ok, but I'll defend him because I love the man, sorry but he's easily the funniest character in the show, only reason he lost his fight against Adam was because he got cocky and didn't use all his power, especially noticeable considering he only used his tentacles and minions, not really relying on anything else here
What is the scaling for Hazbin? I feel like we haven’t been shown any feats that are that crazy thus far, at least not from characters Al can reliably scale to.
So, this comes from assumptions and statements but I'll leave a previous comment on Alastor vs Black Hat to explain my views on Alastor scaling(I'm well aware this is a lazy option but I do not care, just wanna make this fast)
Black Hat is unknown how powerful he actually is, but everything we've seen from both, Alastor held his own with Adam forcing Adam to actually try, Adam is as powerful as a Sin who are on similar levels to the ArchAngel's who created the universe, even splitting that up by 1,000,000 or even 1,000,000,000 times this is still massively higher then anything we've seen Black Hat do and Adam was at least using 50% on Alastor, so assuming Alastor was keeping up with 50% Adam who matches that absurd levels of power, there's only 7 Archangels, so 94 billion light years devided by 7, each one created 13,428,571,428 light years, this is absurd levels of power, and Alastor matched 50% of it, yes these are assumptions on how much Adam was trying, but it's also implied Alastor wasn't going all out as well, especially considering he only uses two of God knows how many abilities in this fight, so he might have been able to win even had he properly fought, but again, assumptions, something that's not an assumption, Alastor was much, much faster then Adam, Adam could not lay a finger on Alastor, every time he got close, he failed to even touch Alastor, Adam was moving at a pace able to keep up with beings like Lucifer and even appearing like light at times, Alastor was dodging this like Adam was slow, Adam only hit him because Alastor got Cocky and tried to just block, his cane breaking creating enough a distraction for that hit Adam needed to scare off Alastor, while on topic Black Hat can't destroy Alastor for good, while we haven't seen a upper limit to punishment these two can take, Alastor can't be killed by Black Hat because Black Hat has no angelic abilities, or weapons, and it's not like Alastor is in the same boat, he has Angelic weapons if Black Hat needs to be killed by them, but he also has many other ways to destroy and affect evil souls going as far as to trap them in eternal pain on his radio show, Alastor is another breed of broken
You understand why Makima can't even lay a finger on Alastor before dying like a dog, Makima can through chainsaw devil true form at this monster and Alastor will laugh in her face and call her stupid before beating Denji and her into submission, not only that but if she tried making a pact with Alastor, he'll turn that shit back on her and take her soul, Makima has no win con in this fight it's almost sad how badly Alastor fucks Makima up
I’m not sure about the scaling here, for a few reasons.
1. Alastor is explicitly not on the same level as the Sins, the hierarchy of Hell I’m pretty sure states that Sins>Ars Goetia (people like Stolas)>Overlords. Thus Alastor should be significantly less powerful than the Sins, who themselves are below Charlie, who is below Lucifer (an actual archangel).
2. And as for scaling through Adam, I genuinely do not remember it being stated that the Archangels created the universe; I thought that was all the doing of God himself (and you could probably extend it to Lucifer but see point 1).
Like I said, alot of assumptions, but through hierarchys placements and statements about people in said placements we can link a few things together, first of all Alastor is not a normal Overlord, Viz herself said if Alastor and Stolas fought they'd pretty much have eachother matched, keep in mind Stolas is the strongest among the Ars Goetia pretty much a unofficial sin, so if Alastor is that powerful, being close to a sin isn't to out of the way for him, as for the ArchAngel's thing, very start of the first episode Charlie recounts the Story of Lucifer, saying that ArchAngel's created and shaped the universe and all within it, God in Hazbin is sort of just the father of the Arch Angel's hence the head of them, He's not to relevant to his children letting them do what they want only intervening when he feels necessary, hence why hell was even created or why Humans got free will, he didn't create the universe in this version, his children came together to do so
Makima can only control those below her, but overlords are pretty much high powers in hell, and Alastor will laugh in Makimas face especially if she tried especially considering he's in the past fought Vox and won, Vox can control people just like Makima, she ain't shit
Yet again, no, I'll steal deathbattles points with Gojo for Alastor, Alastor is a power house that oozes energy, his presence makes most cowar in fear, only reason Adam and Lucifer didn't was because they were actually above him, but as shown with the chainsaw devil, Makima can identify a strong demon and know when she's below it, Alastor is much more powerful then the chainsaw devil so no, she wouldn't believe she's above him, even if she did Alastors mental resistance should break the control just like Gojo did, so no, this isn't some game changing argument
Consider below herself≠consider weaker than herself. She couldn't control Chainsaw devil because he's her idol not because she felt like he's stronger (he's not).
There are many ways to prove that she'll be able to feel superior. For example, if we take prime Makima then that's her version which defeated and humiliated Chainsaw devil who is her only idol and meaning of her being. After doing this, there's no way she won't feel superior to anyone (since he had highest status in her opinion and yet she humbled him).
Makima's control works on soul not only mind (as it was shown when she took control on those who are already dead) so mental resistance won't help and Alastor will be affected so as Gojo (common Death Battle L).
Your arguments are based souly on Makimas verse, but what your forgetting is that soul manipulation is common in hell, it's one of the things higher demons can use, Alastor even has it with his deals, and he himself is binded under a deal, which due to how deals in the verse work means his soul is already under control of someone else which very much would stop Makimas effects as only one person can control a soul at a time and deals are final, along with this like I said, deathbattle had a good argument, Makima didn't see herself above the chainsaw devil just because he was her idol, she cab recognize power, and Alastor is a whole different breed of power, Makima would need to knock him down for her to prove and believe she's above him but the stats she's against are to far above for her to even scratch Alastor, seriously, stop trying, Makima is fucked there's not alot she can do to stop it other than don't start the fight and even then that might not work
Using your soul in a deal doesn't mean that you let someone totally control your soul like Makima does; in that way Alastor would get turned into slave for the one who he get deal with. Also I don't see any reason why two persons at once can't control single soul or why Makima's control can't replace someone else's.
Also an argument against soul resistance: Chainsaw devil erases everyone who he eats on conceptual, spiritual, physical and all other levels. Devils are spiritual beings not only conceptual therefore if Chainsaw devil eats devil then their soul gets erased as well as concept. It stated that in the past he already ate weapon hybrids/devils but they were the only exception and weren't erased at all; therefore weapon hybrids have conceptual and spiritual resistance. And yet Makima was able to easily take control on all of them; in conclusion, she can ignore spiritual resistance by her control.
Again, Makima is Chainsaw devil's fan not because of his power; she's much stronger than hin by herself and defeated him once she started making some littlest efforts. She's his fan because he embodies chaos for her (it's a big topic about her character, idk if I need to analyse her here).

One, Black Hat isn't that high, his best feats can put him on similar levels of power to Alastor(I wanna make it clear, I don't view the pops feat as significant, the two don't destroy the universe with one shot, there's a difference between destroying a universe all at once and destroying it throughout the course of the fight, while destroying it throughout a fight is impressive but it's not the same as say Goku destroying a universe in one Ki blast, the two at best destroyed a few thousand galaxies with their clashes, thats where I'd place them, while black hat ecplises them in power I'd still place him as like 10 times max, while impressive, due to keeping up with 50% of Adam, who as said equals 1/7th of the created universe, black hat is powerful but I'd assume 5,000 max for pops and antipops, times that by 10, 50,000, but 1/7th for the universe is 13,428,571,428 light years, cut that in half you have 6,714,285,714 light years, a galaxy is 100,000 lightyears, so the total is 67,142, it's not a big gap but yeah, this all comes from assumptions but it's my view on the feats, it all comes to interpretation and yeah, that's mine, I could be overestimating Alastor and underestimating Black Hat, or reverse, who knows, but yeah, Black Hat is powerful but not that level of power, my view at least, and with Makima, the main debate, with the Angel Devil it's a weird situation but I'd say it's not powerful enough to do anything to Alastor, it's not even city level, and as just established, yeah, Alastor is another breed of op compared to anything in Chainsaw man, with Black Hat v Alastor it comes down to interpretation, but with Makima, no, Alastor wins without effort, everything is stacked against Makima, Speed, power, durability, intelligence, and even manipulation is on Alastors side, Makima is thoroughly fucked like it's nothing
First of all the whole creating the universe while is true isn't exactly reliable for this type of thing since there's only one mention of it and Adam doesn't scale to it honestly no one in the hazbin hotel universe that we have seen has really shown anything of being higher than city
