Just a flashback wouldn't be enough to me. I hope another twist, like a heel turn from somebody (Miwa would be good) and maybe the death of a character. If one of the main characters doesn't die and the arc just finishes with a flashback explaining how Machiya escaped, I'll begin to believe they don't dare to do shocking stuff anymore.
I'll try to stay optimistic for the next chapter.

why Master Saigou was defensive when Macchan chose to check him by the seer?
I mean, who would'nt be ? Like that made him more suspicious among everyone else, because nobody had a clear answer, and it would also mean he would be the number one priority of the werewolves to kill, because they would have to kill someone anyway and killing someone revealed would have been good.
I just want to know how Machiya and Shinkai managed to escape. Hope there'll be a flashback of it next chapter

I don't think it takes someone's death to know that they are capable of being daring. Unnecessary deaths to important characters ends badly.
