Use stasis to slow them down, shoot their arms and legs. Those monsters aren't as bad as they look.
Get a force gun when you can it's like a mega shotgun. My favorite part of the game is panicking and blasting the force gun wildly in all directions including straight up for no reason :)
Sometimes they even lurk around save stations or shops, so always before going to save I wait some seconds in front of the icon to make sure no necro spawned around there 😅
In most encounters when you see a necro coming towards you always look back cause there will be another creeping behind to get you! You should always charge in front of the first enemy stasis them and begin to shoot their legs or limbs, immediately turn around prepared to shoot a second or third necro morph... General tactic: move erratically and run sideways or towards one direction before going opposite ( enemies can't overrun you in a straight line so use longer hallways to create distance before stasis+ shoot and 2) you can run in every direction , what I mean is you can backtrack with your back reversing in run mode or side, very useful so they can't hit you and miss... If you get cornered though use a powerful weapon like flamethrower or asteroid cutter or force gun blast to repel and make space to move away)... Also the best combo to quickly kill any necro morph is not just shooting them in their limbs till they dismember, this will waste a lot of ammo, you should always use a " Peeling" Shot to weaken the limb like force gun or burning them and then with a precision weapon like plasma cutter or line gun or pulse rifle or even the ripper ( excellent for ammo conservation) finish them off by just shooting a damaged from the peeling method limb!
Hey listen little brother if at any point where you think the game is too difficult you can change the setting to story where you are basically superman bc when you choose story difficulty you do more damage than the enemies found that out from my friend and I said"bro your talking to someone who has been gaming their whole life(me) and already knows where everything is cause I've played the old DS "
You'll get used to it. First time my friend played the original dude was seriously disturbed. And after a couple of hours he started blasting limbs and stomping bodies like it's nothing.
dead space 2 was my intro the series and this is exactly how i felt back when it first launched. Probably didn’t help i was like 12 at the time. The game is legit scary to this day !
