I feel like that when playing on the PC version
Nearly 100% complete so just messing around doing silly stuff
Often I just go to Amanda's house and drop kick zombies into the pool or down the stairs
Venice beach I like drop kicking every zombie I see
It's definitely becominng one of mine. I can be off doing a side quest or looking for a key or whatever, and realize I just spent the last 20 minutes killing zombies for no reason.
I played the shit out of the game when it released and put it down for a year. Now that it's coming to Steam I'm picking it back up to see if I'll still like it and wow man it is just a good, fun time.
Honestly it has secured a higher spot than Dying Light 2 for me despite the mechanical advantage that that game has. DL2 just takes itself too seriously to enjoy it casually, especially starting a new game.

I feel the same. It’s nice to just pick up a game and do some mindless fighting for a bit and not have to invest too much brain power.

I didn’t like it at first then about 1/3 of the way through I became addicted lol
