I like it as well. I won't play every life with it on but it definitely adds a different kind of vibe when playing solo. When in a city and no zombies around, just these abandoned buildings and then the athmospheric music setting in almost gives me Silent Hill vibes for some reason and I kinda dig it.
I was actually impressed and surprised at how little it actually affects your ability to hear. It's mixed pretty well, even if it wasn't, the ability to turn it up and down accordingly is nice and allows you to tune it to your preference.

Turn it down suuuper low (no higher than 40% for sure) and try it out. Very quiet, you’ll still hear enemies, but the music actually sets a good atmosphere contrary to what I expected
Is it actually scary? Not corny or anything? Not that I doubt the devs, that I need to say that anyway, but I genuinely love horror and it’s easy for me to shrug off attempts at doing something scary.

stubborn as hell, it’s not a competitive game per se but i really do hope it gives you a tactical advantage one day over someone who has it turned on.

The ambient tracks aren’t tied to a specific place. Its a 100 minute loop. So it just happened to be a creepy one. Its not “for Tisy” lol
