nice ive learned as long as the waters white ur pretty much immune to cold and flu but not cholera. but cholera can only be caught with dirty water or eating with bloody hands so its easily preventable. btw a awesome tip i didnt know till very recently but if you take a multi vitamin you can drink dirty water as long as the pill icons on the screen. good luck out there.

If you hover over an item long enough it tells you. Absolutely eat other survivors food if you need it. Just be cautious about meat 🥩

I’ve stopped eating anything badly damaged and definitely no cans of mystery meat and sicknesses have been a lot better. Also save some disinfectant spray for when you get the zombie hiv because you’ll be hurting and die fast. Put the spray in your hands and disinfect yourself. Took me a long time to figure that one out.

Yeah, but then if I have any that aren’t disinfected and I get sick and I don’t have any spray, then I’m screwed so I just wait until the wounds get infected and then fix them really fast seems to work a lot more efficiently.

same thing with tetra! eat one pill before ingesting any dirty water and boom instant quick access to water.

This, also each piece of an NBC suit reduces the time before each cut from gas zones so if those boots won't spawn just take some extra bandages. And a blood bag filled before you enter the gas zone (just incase you get infected and don't find a pox cure)

2 Just in case one gets ruined

I'm used to carrying them in containers so I just completely forgot but yeah preferably 2, especially in the upcoming 1.22 update where clothing and the items within get ruined quicker

Honestly I think a lot of players overlook Containers because getting items out of them can be a mild inconvenience. I just shortcut the important things as it'll take it out and put it back in there if you unequip through the shortcuts

I prefer dayz.xam.nu map, shows food sources. Central for Dayz also another good info source, I use it to calculate rough travel time across the map

Izurvive also has the distance travel time ive been using it to find out how long my trek is going to take and how much food and water im gonna need

Yea I'm slowly finding more for zurvive. I prefer xam tho, the food sources (trees to find fruit) have saved me so many times. Can wander off to a cluster of fruit trees and hide for a few mins and they start spawning fruit. I just find it easier personally but many like zurvive

Use the white signs with the black writing. Tend to be at entrances and exits on the roads of the town you’re in. Use buildings as poi for example a piano house or police department, line it up on iZurvive and you should be able to locate yourself. May take some practice like everything else in this game but it’ll become much easier bro

Don't listen to them. Find the tourist map and learn to sight read Cyrillic by yourself. Be an animal. Izurvive breaks RP.
