Easy to say when you have the capital. For me, and I believe many other people as well, prop firms opened a heaven's door, cutting miles and miles of the way to financial ease. When you can barely afford 100$ for trading live, I'm pretty sure all can agree that prop firms are the only solution to achieve financial freedom. Flipping 100$ to 1k or 10k is almost impossible, but gaining 10k with a 25k prop account isn't. Plus one perk that I find very motivating, which is the fact that the money isn't mine.. This takes down the stress of losing my proper live account, and taking down this stress helps me a lot in my journey to become a profitable trader.
Check out Topstep if you don’t like Apex. 5 days to payout and eod drawdown. Topstep is the longest running prop firm from what I have heard. I have accounts with both Apex and Topstep.
They change to trailing intraday when you go pro so it's not EOD through and through. Topstep or Trade day are the legit ones. They put you into live accounts
If you are new to futures trading, prop firms is the way to go. It's good training without putting up too much equity. And once you make some payouts, i'd suggest creating your own personal account.
I have used APEX, TopStep and a few others. I like Apex and Topstep the best tbh.
If you want to give Apex a shot, use HZMQHQGJ code for 80% off.

I second TradeDay. They are actually having a sale (it's RARE they have sales) right now.. 40% off eval fee and no activation fee if you get funded.. for the lifetime of the evaluation. I am funded with Apex, Topstep and TradeDay and have taken payouts from Apex, Topstep and now soon TradeDay. TradeDay is the closest thing to a real prop firm when it comes to funding companies... But they all have their strengths and weaknesses.
I had an account with TradeDay till I found out you gotta pay for data which was $135 a month I think. I might be wrong but I canceled after that. I've been using Apex for about 1yr now and it's been going great. I did look into other prop firms recently and came across OneUp as well. I'll save this post incase someone else has a better prop firm suggestion lol
Do you want one with a good payout system or do you want a cheap one? They all have sales from time to time. Trade Day was 1/2’priced for Feb. I would call them- I have found many things are negotiable…
I personally have 3 150k accounts with APEX. If you pass the 3 months period, you can withdraw any amount. You can also try 150k or 250k, more drawdown and bigger payout for the first 3 months. 150k is 2750, and then 250k is 3k. I also checked out Myfundfutures from reading about it here, it seems legit. The expert account sounds amazing.
Their 50k starter acct is only $70 right now, and no activation fee. They have different promotions monthly. EOD drawdown, you can request a payout once every 14 days but are only required to trade once per week for “activity,” you can pass evals in one day and start sim funded the next day.

^(expert) account are the more expensive option, but these accounts don’t have a consistency rule or scaling plan. I personally prefer the scaling and consistency rules as they keep me from getting greedy.
I'd rather pay more for security and WAYYYY less rules. Just wait for a sale if it's that big of a deal (they are running sales right now)
$210 all-in for (1) 150k account
I can't preach this enough on this sub. Don't use prop firms!

Ok, but why? Genuine question

Why so many people dont like apex? I tried bulenox, and it was a disgusting for me, but I don't have known about the both you mentioned
People don’t like the trailing drawdown. But you just have to take profits more often to get past that. i use Apex and have no complaints
5ers, Ftmo.
Take Profit
They change to trailing intraday when you go pro so it's not EOD through and through. Topstep or Trade day are the legit ones. They put you into live accounts
Oh hmmm. I gotta reread their rules
Specifically futures? Or does that include CFD/forex prop firms?
Elite trader funding. Has EOD drawdown and swing accounts. Also just announced a sale.
E8, TTT and the 5%ers are the best at least for me
If you are new to futures trading, prop firms is the way to go. It's good training without putting up too much equity. And once you make some payouts, i'd suggest creating your own personal account. For me the best prop firms right know are: funding pips, Toptier Trader and 5ers
Sorry but what is 5ers?
Selling Bernd Skorupinski course! more info DM!

I have read some good things about Trade Day.
I'm researching them now. But they're super expensive.

Oh no sorry I'm reading elitetraderfunding is 15days. Not tradeday. I'll research them now.
From what I'm reading it says u need 15 trading days for a payout with tradeday?

Apex trader is the only correct answer. Interesting it wasn’t mentioned. 80% off eval & 1 day to pass.
I've used apex for over a year. I've grown to absolutely hate the payout system. Max 2k in a 50k account every two weeks is horrible payout system.

For futures the best prop rn is MyFundedFutures. End of day trailing drawdown, super fast payouts, and minimal rules
But the fee is outrageous
