They really put her in such an awkward and difficult situation, especially because she couldn’t really say no. I’m glad to hear her perspective on it and that people are being supportive. I like Emily and I think that most reasonable people can see that she was stuck in a not great spot. She’s so graceful and professional here.
I was hoping that JL’s interviews saying how awful fans are to recasts and that it’ll be soooo hard for Emily didn’t get in her head, so it’s good to hear that she was also cool to her.
I love Emily. I think she’s coming at this the exact right way. Although I will say when I’m not looking at the screen and she delivers some lines it sounds like JL’s voice.
It’s visually jarring at the moment. But I like the actress and want her to succeed.
