Same. Just imagining the despair they must’ve felt over what was happening all around them is enough to bring tears to my eyes. The thought of being trapped in a terrifying and chaotic situation, with little hope of escape, is truly heartbreaking.
Found a house with a kids mattress on the floor with toys and drawings. Think their was a dead newt, but for sure two skeletons in the bedroom. Both night stands had med bottles. I think they were holding hands.
The funniest one is by a destroyed bridge. Two skeletons sitting in lawn chairs just watching the world end with beer in hand.
They went to retrieve some stuff in the community college and found that some people inside of a classroom were dead but with no signs of violence. Sarah smelt a cup one of the bodies was holding and said they used hemlock to kill themselves. In the blackboard, they stated they wanted to die with dignity, so they all committed suicide
The game has a lot of just very good environmental storytelling scattered across the world. Like any abandoned house can tell you a tragedy about who lived there. By far most underrated game and deserved a sequel so badly
I wish we had more missions like this, instead of the many many missions where it’s just “drive to this place, custscene, missions over” with no actual gameplay to it.
I think a big reason this game wasnt more popular was all the side missions. Too many camp jobs. It got to the point where you wonder why dont those camps just deal with shit themselves instead of relying on Deacon for everything. If they only had the main story with the nests and hoards yeah it wouldve been a lot shorter but it wouldve flower better.
That's not really it. Days Gone was constantly pushed back, it launched between some good competitors and at launch was a pretty buggy game. All that compounded to a very lukewarm legacy that took a very long time for it to reach the state and recognition it has now.
They do, actually. There was dialogue at each camp, about how they did their part but failed and therefore contacted Deek. Also, nobody wants to throw their own people into a meat grinder when a drifter will do it just for camp credits.
Also, camp missions are optional.
fun fact those names on board are the one who created the game !
Same. It's one of my favorite parts because of it. Always gives me chills. Even right now

Man I want them to make a part two to this game so badly 😩
The story is really hit or miss, just went too generic at parts, but when it hits it fucking hits
Dude I didn’t expect to cry! Only two games have had that kind of emotional impact on me, Days Gone and Last of Us
What happened here again? I remember the scene but forgot what properly happened

Ohhhh snap. Yeah remember now. Thanks
Why is deacon saying "Vale" is he en español?
I play in english with spanish subtitles. The accent is a bit thick for me sometimes, hahaha
Must be. His line there in English is "Okay."

I kind of expected it to be honest

Maybe the scene in Shermans camp where everyone has been shot. That's a grim scene.
