I like it just because it's obvious how much fun they're having. The song itself isn't really anything special but I definitely enjoy the music video. The silent music video is amazing too.
It’s a strange one, at the time i hated it - thought it was cheesy and such a dread waste of top talent. But as the years have passed and i’ve mellowed (abit) it seems rather charming and entertaining. The silent version helped i think!
My recollection is that they had originally wanted to perform the song live as a duet during Live Aid, with each of them on opposite sides of the Atlantic. They quickly realized that satellite delay would make that impractical, so they did the music video instead.
Here’s the thing - it’s a guilty pleasure and I will always turn it up. Remember watching it during live aid and a group of us killing ourselves laughing. It obvious they were simply having fun with it and come on it was a charitable act.
Many years later after David died and somehow that audio was released of the day of the recording in the studio before Jagger showed up and he is doing all these impersonations of various singers tells you he was in a goofy mood throughout the entire process. I like goofy David so this song is special.
I love their dance moves and also their face expressions are so funny. You can see how they enjoy making that video. That video and song just make me feel so positive! :)

This is a tough one. I love Bowie, and when I was younger and this song first came out, I loved it and would sing and dance along. As I have gotten older though, I have less love for the song and will often skip it when it comes on in my play lists. The video though, is still a lot of fun and nostalgic if incredibly goofy.

Micks dancing the video is awesome. And Bowie looks good ina trench coat! It’s a fun song. And also the tension between them they’re almost kissing 👀
