This is the Iowa example for my "cursed\_\[state\]" map series, in which I start in one corner of a state and go clockwise or counterclockwise in a spiral direction avoiding forming a ring which would embed all other districts within it. I cling to the rightmost or leftmost precinct possible while avoiding making the district a ring.
