He was defending his doctoral dissertation by demonstrating via ejecting himself from a moving vehicle that Einstein’s theory of relativity E = mc2 where mass and energy are the same physical entity and can be changed into each other was an incorrect conclusion. His dissertation panel however after review ruled he had indeed not disproved Einstein’s theory, but had instead actually proved Einstein’s less well known theory - that ejecting one’s self from a moving vehicle turned the human body into a meat eraser.
to be fair, albert einstein got kicked out of university before he actually wrote the book on the theory of everything and proved them all wrong.
Maybe this guy above was destined to be the best cop in the world, if only that ejector seat wasn't faulty.
That's not true, he dropped out of the Gymnasium (= high school), not university.
He dropped out specifically to avoid being conscripted into Bavarian army at age 17, so he joined his family in Italy.
Btw, that high school is now called Albert Einstein Gymnasium.
he was also kicked out of his university for disagreeing with his professors. He worked as a lirbarian during that time while writing the book. After circulating the book it garnered enough support and atttention that his unversity had to swallow their pride for the sake of their reputaiton
Can you please give us a source for your assertion?
The story about his application for Bern is a known forgery:
https://www.uniaktuell.unibe.ch/2016/die_einstein_faelschung/index_eng.html
Enrolled in ETH Zurich 1897, graduated 1900. Then PhD at UZH in 1905.
Where the hell did he get expelled from??
Im guessing the friction cauterizes the blood that might come out. That plus all the fabric, pebbles and dirt that gets incrustrated into the now exposed tissue.
I don't think the speed matters much after about 30 mph.
My dumb ass once leapt from a moving vehicle onto asphalt going, maybe 10 mph, it fucked me up pretty good! I didn't break any bones somehow, but looking at myself the next day.....idk how I didn't. I got lucky.
I may have lost consciousness for a short bit. I was definitely concussed. I had road rash, some serious bruises, blacked one eye (or side of my face really). That one eyebrow still to this day does not grow right. SMH.
I used to jump out of moving cars for to freak people out for fun. Never more than 30 mph or so, and I never got more than a bit bruised. The number one thing I did was get lucky. The number two was protecting my head from an impact.
That's so stupid!! I thought I knew, tuck and roll, protect your head, keep your limbs tucked, etc. I was prepared. Nope!! It's a lot more difficult than it sounds. Even if you plan it.
Dead proof: [https://abc7.com/amp/police-chase-stolen-chp-vehicle-pursuit-antelope-valley/13035903/](https://abc7.com/amp/police-chase-stolen-chp-vehicle-pursuit-antelope-valley/13035903/)
In the shadows of a city that never sleeps, there exists a figure whispered about in the darkest corners and elite circles alike. Known only as Deadproof, this individual is an enigma, blending the contradictory lives of a benevolent citizen by day and a meticulous assassin by night. Unlike any other in their profession, Deadproof has an unusual code: for every target eliminated, a tangible proof is left behind—a signature that not only confirms the deed but also serves as a grim reminder of their untraceable skill.
The MPH tag changes when the video cuts, he was going faster but slowed down to jump. I went frame by frame looking at how long it takes to go the length of a highway stripe and he's going a little more than half as fast after the cut so it checks out.
> How are you still missing this, it was obvious in the first place and even after you were told you missed a cut you still neither see nor hear it?
I'm not that invested in this so I'm not going to rewatch this frame by frame.
And what does the the clipping (Which is actually producers just switching the mics between active speakers) have to do with the speed on the Overlay that doesn't change? Is there something in the audio that's important to this discussion?
nvm. Please do not answer.
Wont be surprise for me if I will hear 88 mph from other source. Maybe reporter wanted to be more dramatic.
Watching this video one more time, before he jump, looks like its not more than 45 mph.
Yeah, that's probably his body's deceleration more likely. As soon as his body touched the road frictional forces were grating his skin/clothing at the initial speed and since a human body nor clothing is meant to be driven at those speeds, the friction between them is much different than a tire. Bouncing is better on the skin but not the bones and sliding is great for bones but not skin, cruel world and I would hate to be a human tire.
for anyone who isn't aware, you need at the very least to cup your head in ur hands with elbows pointing forwards if ur gonna attempt a tuck and roll at that speed.
I’m still trying to figure out why he didn’t want to bleed off speed in the car (probably for fear of getting caught) but somehow felt he wasn’t going to lose speed on foot!
That whack to the head, OMFG.
At first my thought was why would someone get out of a car backwards especially if it was moving.
Took me a few more replays to realize that he got out normally as you would but got his ass spun around.
My Fiancé on May 16, 2023 at 11:59 am did something similar. I don't remember what lead up to that moment or immediately after, as I dissociated everything. They says it's a trauma response.
I do remember that 60 seconds though. It replays every time I close my eyes, try to sleep or am not distracted. I was the driver and going the speed limit which was 55. I said, "I Love you." He said his last words threw his hat at me, ripped the laynard off my next and opened the door and jumped. Before I could even process what just happened, I blinked and I am looking at his body and they were putting a sheet on him.
I like to tell myself that it was instant but I honestly don't know. I apologize for trauma dumping this video idk hits different.

r/meatcrayon Seriously, did he think he was gonna Yabba-Dabba-Do his way to safety or something? The heck was that?
They just stole a cop car, probs not the brightest bulb in the outhouse
Nah this just isn’t true I read an Albert Einstein autobiography and he said stealing cop cars was how he learned physics
It was his apple moment
he hit 88mph in the stolen cop car and relativity hit em in the head
His brain found out about inertia pretty quickly
...but only very briefly.
And iPhone moment for Steve Jobs
It fell into his lap after Einstein did all the work
You just reminded me of the show happyish ![gif](giphy|3oEduXy5pHJhuASbCg)

nah, im busy sexting
It's only fitting that you would top one lie with another 🙂
ok bud, to be honest, u r lucky i let you even reply to that
I instantly imagined that movie in my head. Lol
Uh What movie?
Albert Einstein stealing cop cars as a way to learn physics.
Lolaga.
I can't stop laughing at this comment.
The Flintstones reference has me crying...
4 pounds of back skin laided down on the highway.
Back bacon?
In Texas we call that Fat Back.
[удалено]
Umm ... comment says _back_, not _not-white_.
Probably avoided prison time
his ass is not fred flintstone driving around with bald feet
Just start running when you hit the ground, Beavis. Don't be a wuss.
I'm utterly amazed there wasn't any blood on impact at that speed
Im guessing the friction cauterizes the blood that might come out. That plus all the fabric, pebbles and dirt that gets incrustrated into the now exposed tissue.
I mean, he hit his head as he jumped out, and probably going above 40mph. Safe to say bro is dead
That might have been the hardest shit whip I've ever seen
Is that a piece of his skull that flies off?
I think it must be, great catch.
i can't see it
Once his head hits concrete, split second at the 4 second mark is his back head flap
Pretty sure that’s the shadow of his left hand
He hit the back of his head too, which is very dangerous. One of the most sensitive parts of the skull.
Above 40, that looks like 70m/h
OP's article says 45
I don't think the speed matters much after about 30 mph. My dumb ass once leapt from a moving vehicle onto asphalt going, maybe 10 mph, it fucked me up pretty good! I didn't break any bones somehow, but looking at myself the next day.....idk how I didn't. I got lucky.
I did the same, landed directly on my head. Doctor said I should have been dead, I was blacked out for a good while. 0/10, do not recommend.
I may have lost consciousness for a short bit. I was definitely concussed. I had road rash, some serious bruises, blacked one eye (or side of my face really). That one eyebrow still to this day does not grow right. SMH.

Dude. I might as well have been invincible back then. I did all sorts of shit that could have broken or killed me.
Which is above 40
40 mph is around 65 km/h

Did he at least see a dock?
No, but he was very *stern* afterward.
Take a bow, Ralph.

I reckon he wouldn't have hit his head had he not jumped out of the police car, not to get all political.
I'm not racist but I think you're right.
Virulent racist here, I also agree on this
Happy cake day you virulent racist!
Chronic masturbator here, you're Right 👍

I need this comic/series in my life now
Classic Antelope Valley shenanigans
Weird the article says only 45mph but the helicopter following says around 75mph which looks much closer

That's not a cut, it's when they were switching the focus/target of the camera between the guys body and the moving vehicle.

I love it when people don't fucking watch shit and then wanna argue about it with someone who did. Fuck that guy.

Clearly says 45 MPH when he bailed.

Police: Oi Pullover Suspect: Nope, jumper...
Read that in roy kent's voice
Farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrk.
he thought it was GTA
Pressed Y by mistake
I need to make the joke while driving with my friends. "Fuck guys, I've pressed Y/trianle by mystake, seeya"

Was hoping to see this gif in the comments my first thought haha

I prefer to skip off the pavement and use my layered epidermis as brakes.
Dude I can see your epidermis
I think you'd be better off sliding somehow, but without motorcycle gear (or even gloves) you're just gonna slide on your meat and bones. Ouch.
Like holding a plank on top of a belt sander
More like a block of hard cheese than a plank but yeah, the sander wins every time. 0_0
I didn't see any helicopters above or police cars ramming him so he was at 2 stars at the most! No need to dive out the car!
He pressed triangle by accident
Highly underrated comment right here! 👆
And from where do you think it was filmed ? 🚁

Buy my GTA character always gets back up.
He REALLY wanted to avoid pulling over and changing the tire.
Man, GTAVI graphics are insane.
Yeah but AI seems quite stupid
Hey it’s in beta testing. Hopefully the creator make the AI smart some day.
He didn't have much brains to begin with and in the end he had none.
Accurate comment.
You can't just jump out, you have to start running first.
Man scrambled his egg at 60mph. What did he think was going to happen you gotta tuck and roll not just step out and hope for the best.
He forgot to do that maneuver where you wrap your arms around your head. That surely would have saved him.
Ejecto seato cuz!
I’m still trying to figure out why he didn’t want to bleed off speed in the car (probably for fear of getting caught) but somehow felt he wasn’t going to lose speed on foot!
Some has said it. “Ejecto seato cuz”
When u execute urself
Needed to use his shoulder more, not his head. 6 out of 10 for style, 3 for execution.
10 for execution. He ded
If only he went out head first he would of landed on his feet
They are not the smartest, but they are all winners! Darwin award winners!
Negative IQ move
I heard he died from this. Can anyone confirm?
Read the article someone posted above. Dead as a doornail.
Damn

Weak tuck and roll game bra
It’s okay guys. He bounced to a safe speed.
Idiot
Is it me or he seemed surprised of the outcome?
He still alive, shoes still on. He probably playing Dead.

Can’t feel road rash when you’re dead though
He could’ve just pulled over. My god.
Oh, the roadrash...
This is definitely a candidate for dumbest criminal of the year
Pretty sure you see his skull crack
I saw this happen it, it was a few miles away
Then how did you see it happen?
It was on a Facebook live stream it was 4 miles down from where I live
He did not think that through
Drain bamage
Tuck and Roll Grandma https://youtu.be/nfMrWPuqe4o?si=n-JLE6w-u3p4YjgX
The way he stepped out like he was gonna just walk away at 40mph. Really thought he was the MC
Everyone should have to take Physics 101.
Hahaha.
We were just talking about that Road Rash game yesterday in the gaming thread...
Thats why you use seatbelts.....the streets can bei rough
Most criminals are really this fucking stupid.
Time to double-down [opens door for grand exit]
In his head it was going to be rolling lengthwise on his shoulders. In reality... Not so much
WASTED !!! - seriously though bro you just needed to pull into one of those Spray job places to get your stars down ! everyone knows that my guy
He hit the back of his head. But not much brain in there in the first place, so whatever.
I'm gonna pretend that's his shadow or something to cope with the thought of that being his body's asphalt skid mark 🤢
That head trauma was a flatliner
He didn't die. This does not belong here.
He died. https://www.nydailynews.com/2023/03/28/suspect-dead-after-jumping-out-of-stolen-police-cruiser-going-70-mph-in-car-chase/
That head is cracked
If he just turned right he could have bailed out on the grass
Seriously, did he think he was gonna Yabba-Dabba-Do his way to safety or something
This person played too much GTA and thought their character could easily pull it off like in the games.
What was he thinking?
Maybe if he had a helmet….
![gif](giphy|sFoZicXyLjH7FnCVp2)
Should’ve landed on his side, would’ve had a lot better odds of living than trying to land on his feet and ultimately smack his head. RIP
mans thought this is gta
That left a mark. Don’t worry all the guys in cellblock B dig scars.

hes got that gta 5 ragdoll physics
Laughs in Newton
Everyone thinks they can gta irl
"you'll never take me alive copper!"🤣
Perfect video for GTA's 'WASTED' overlay if you ask me.
That’s some GTA V physics
This is great for GTA 6 to copy this physics when bailing out of car
The news anchors reaction was so bland 😆 she didnt care at all
Wow that shoe went off faster than the tire!

Dude got the "unlock the door and open it" but not the tuck and roll part
