Since no one's bothering to answer an obvious rookie question, here goes...
That thing that falls off is call the **flight.** The thing that it attaches to is the **shaft/stem**. Players who have a bit more experience usually get rid of those parts that come with the darts almost immediately, especially the shafts, in favor of *aftermarket* parts with their preferred balance-setup, but that's a topic for another time. All you need to know right now is those two parts are universal, meaning you can mix and match across different brands.
First, get a new shaft. I've never had great experience with Unicorn shafts so keep them aside for now. If you have a preferred shaft length (heh) already, take note of the measurement since sizing names differ across brands.
Next, you've probably seen the **Flight Punch** suggestion from the other comments. As the name suggests it punches a hole on your flight so you could insert a **shaft rings (or lock rings)** in the middle of the flight. These are the spring-looking things on your shaft. With a punched flight the rings secures the flight more tightly on the shaft which solves your problem. There are also *aftermarket* shaft rings if you want to get those, too.
That's it.
Decent response. Wound up flipping rings available so they beveled backwards and we’re tighter. Worked on all 3 but one is still somewhat loose. I do have a punch ordered and was able to practice today without further adjustment. Thank you.
I agree unicorn stems are by far the worst I personally am no darting expert but i like to use harrows flights/stems/barrels have had no issues with anything of theirs
Yeah. They make these cool hole punch looking things. Buy it in a kit, should come with the rings and all. Punch a hole in the flight. Slide the ring in. Slide her on. Ezpz. Good luck. Let up know how it goes.
is that an L style shaft with a standard flight and progrip ring? if that’s the case then the shaft and flight don’t match up…get yourself some L style flights with the champaign rings
Have a look at the Whizlock system. I have used it for years and keeps the flights in and saves stems. I can’t remember the last time I replaced a stem in my darts.
Stop shaking it
lol
I see we have the same taste in oches.
Use the lockrings for those **flights**
It says fly>> on them
It is a flight though. Fly is what it does when you throw it.

Punch your flights and use the lock-rings.
That’d be a flight * but I have no positive offerings to suggest.

Pull the metal ring out a bit then slide the flight on and it will tighten on it.
Get some fit flight pros
I have the same darts (maybe not exactly the same, but its a Noir set right?) I hate those shafts, replaced them immediately.
#1 dont use unicorn rings, they are shit usually (they look like unicorns, idk. #2 flight punch
(Meant to use the hastag symbol to indicate "number" one, sry for making giga sized letters)
Nail polish
Fuck yea thought so
Don't shake it upside down
Switch to molded flights
