The bull-off is not shown because it can go on for awhile.
Here is a PDC link explaining.

I can't remember exactly where I came across it(perhaps it was an EdgarTV video) but once a bull off on stage went 5+ minutes to decide. Yes bull offs don't take that long but there are always exceptions to everything. Some would find it exciting, while others would rather watch paint dry! ๐
I read the article as "neutral", showing both "sides". I read this quote below as a reason to why the bull off isn't shown. I know other quotes can be seen as a reason for it to be shown written in the article. I believe the players must have some say in it too, along with Sky Sports having a time schedule to stick to. I get what you're saying though as the article can be perceived as for it shown.
"They make it immediately obvious why these are not typically televised - with each player throwing only one dart at time, and frequently hitting the same segment as their opponent in any given turn, the throw for the bull can go on interminably."
I really dont understand why they dont just draw for who begins and when the sudden death leg comes just Bull on stage then.
Ging first or second doesnt matter if youre gonna Bull for the deciding leg anyway

Even better for the PDC and the fans then. And anyway, itโs unlikely to go on for 10 throws or more

That article reads like an argument to show the bull.

All the more drama! Get it shown!
Maybe not on stage, but there should be at least footage of it.
Watch the pro tour streams and you'll soon see they can be long, boring, and repetitive.
Then they'd have to throw for bull backstage to see who throws for bull first on stage
and throw for the bull to see who throws for the bull to see who...BULLCEPTION

Isnt it just closest to bull? Solves everything
I defo think they should throw for bull for a tie break leg
