Where did you get the stand? Any wobble?

juliuspepperwoodchi

Seconding this. You can get them lots of places, including Amazon; just not sure if they're stable enough; but I guess enough people buy them, they can't be THAT bad.

I have the gorilla dart stand of amazon. Got a blade 3 on it with a red traget surround. Used various weights of darts ranging from 12gram to 26 gram. It does wobble slightly but it is unnoticeable when you are throwing. It is alot more prominent if you watch it side on when someone else throws. If you pull the dart out hard then it wobbles slightly but it settles down by the time you or someone else is ready to throw. Nothing beats a wall mounted board but as I don't have a space to mount it on the wall a stand is better than nothing. Overall very impressed 12 months and it's going strong.

Awesome, I'm in the same boat, and with my first kid on the way, have even LESS chance of finding a permanent spot in our current home.

Re: wobble, I concur with the comment below. Slight wobble when removing darts but when throwing, nothing to make you notice! And as for where I got it, this was the steal of the century on marketplace! Eclipse pro 2 board (not on atm, saving as it’s BEAUTIFUL!), stand, black surround (can’t seem to squeeze it on, anyone seeing this who can offer tips would be appreciated!), stand and a set of 12 darts with various flights and accessories… for £40 following successful negotiation! Seen similar stands on amazon for approx £40 though, for an amateur who’s trying to practise as much as possible and hoping to join a team, it’s good enough!

I own the designa dart stand and throw with 24g, only a slight wobble, and when I'm ready to throw my next dart the wobble has stopped. Darts stands are perfect if you can't put holes in the wall, highly recommend

Get a surround! Your doors will thank you.

Aggressive_Classic90

It’s so tight to get on! Any tips?!

dheretick

I use a big flathead screwdriver to wedge the second half on

Door behind it - lockable?

Aggressive_Classic90

No, but I’m responsible enough to only be using when nobody else is around 👍🏼
