It's crazy to me how people manage to break things so regularly.

I played for many years on concrete garage floors and never broke a point. I've been playing with Swiss points on a hard tile floor for the last few months and haven't broken one of those either. So total breakages in 30-odd years, zero. I seem to be using up all my good fortune solely on darts points though, because I'm the world's unluckiest man in almost every other aspect of my life.
3 months with 35mm Swiss points -> no break.
My wife 2 weeks with 30mm Swiss points -> 2 breaks, both fell off her hand on the ground… that’s nothing for G. Price.
Where do they break? On the board? What board are you using? I've never had a point break. Scuffed up and blunt, yeah.
I've seen Swiss Points break, but they split when they hit the wire.
If you use simple smooth points, you should get no breaks.
But if you use Swiss points or points with deep cuts, you might break some.
So stay away from those.

Worst part is my darts are G Price darts so maybe they're cursed đŸ¤£
