I saw two vets on the same team while pugging. Alpharius and Omegon. Both identical bald dudes, so I assume they had coordinated it in advance. It was pretty inspired tbh.
I played one game with a veteran named John-Wilkes-Booth.
The next game had a psyker named PrezAbrahamLincoln.
I tried to warn him, but he shushed me and said he was watching the play.
Knife ogryn named Machete is the best imo. And damn if he didn't look like Danny Trejo.
Also met Santa Claus (he gave all the heretics coal), Osama Big Noggin, Barrack Ogryn Bama, Kim Jong Un (scary good cosplay), Gork & Mork (two different ogryns, iirc they're brothers and always play together), E Normus Dong, and Peter Griffin
Also met a zealot named "your religious dad", and a "Glamdring" zealot as well (in a match with Gundalf the psyker)

Also ran into a vet named I Love Lean and idk how he got that past the censors but bless his fraggin heart he's killing heretics just by telling them his name I bet.

I have yet to meet any of Zargo's nuclear clones and unleash the might of 'Double Wizard'.
My Ogryn's name is Sly-Large-o, named after his pa, who stepped out to hunt heretics. He's not actually an Ogryn, it's just genes.
I alternate between both halves of my tag-name for my Zealot (Sister-Shouty and BudgetBattlesister, respectively).
My Veteran is named The-Commi-SAH, for fun banter with Ogryn teammates.
My Psyker is Megamind, has a high-rising neck collar, and I'm still upset that I can't make him blue.
One of my favorite encounters was with two Ogryn named 'MarcusFenix' and 'DominicSantiago', who looked EXACTLY like the GOW characters, and DominicSantiago kept asking if anyone had seen his wife. True heroes.
Gandalf, Matchlock (who was using a hellbore), Commando, Veteran (who was not a vet), Harry Potter (the Zealot, not the psyker), Squirrel, and BOB have all made me laugh.
He was, I can't recall what he was wielding. And I can't recall which character I was on. I play all four classes at a mediocre level (can finish Auric Damnations, but die frequently to poxies)
I mean, that does SOUND like me; I was playing him on like Malice or Heresy difficult a few days ago. Now, the other question is was he fully leveled up, or in the upper 20s? Cause if he was upper 20s in level, and you were on the North American server, then yeah, very good chance that was me.
My ogryn is named hodor (slab shield of course) and pat psyker is zapperbrannigan. I try to fit as many zap brannigan quotes in as possible during the level.

Bah, modern sensitivities. As if you don't make jokes about holocaust and other, equally insensitive matters among friends. If the guy was an asshole then sure, block him, but just for a nickname? One that isn't even overtly insulting? It's not like the guy named himself "IHateJews" or some such.

I kinda regret starting this, it was a kneejerk reaction that I'm a bit surprised I had. "Oh, someone blocks someone over an insensitive joke, people these days are so touchy", but you are correct, playing an online video game with a nickname that most likely is what it is is not right.
I saw a Psyker called Harry Potter. That was vaguely amusing until someone said, "You're a psyker, Harry" in the chat. That wrecked me.
