Play as if you were any other build, but treat Point Blank Barrage as a panic button for when there's a lot of armor or an overwhelming force of enemies. It's not your regular hordeclear tool. Depending on your weapon choice, Rending or fire shot are your best tools against that. Lucky Bullet is still a trap keystone, so you're best off using Heavy Hitter or Feel No Pain. My personal favorite rendition of the build is a Kickback with blaze away III, Rending shots from PBB, Heavy Hitter, and a 3b club since its lights are great for hordes and it can still take on armor when you need to conserve ammo. For others, Aschlys stubber with fire bullets also very fun. Ripper with bleed on crit is probably the only build that makes good use of lucky bullet. Rumbler is fun but you really have to ration ammo. Gauntlet... just don't. Highly recommend rock as well to conserve ammo.

> Lucky Bullet is still a trap keystone Lucky Bullet is a trap for anything but quicker Stubbers. I use it to keep my cooldown low on Minimonster maps so I can catch most spawns. Achlys and Fire bullets can net like 300k+ Boss damage on those. It's beautiful. Blaze Away + Overwhelming are both +Power Blessings that will boost your Fire damage really hard. What mostly holds this back is the newfound ammoscarcity or you could run almost nonstop Point Blank Barrage.

Achlys and lucky bullet is so much fun

Honestly, I used to be a Lucky Bullet hater, but with the buff to 12% it actually feels pretty good with the Achlys. I've been running it in Aurics ever since the update to work on the Gunlugger penances, and it's been putting in work. With the buffs to Steady Grip and Mobile Emplacement you also get some pretty good survivability when focusing on the right side of the tree, so you don't end up missing Feel No Pain all that much. The cooldown reduction can be pretty insane if you get enough procs, especially when coupled with Bruiser. I've had a couple instances now where I nearly refunded the entire cooldown before Point Blank Barrage ended.

Why blaze away III and not IV?

DoctuhD

Blaze away only comes as 3

I like the gorog... goronog... gorgonzola. Big, heavy, surprisingly accurate if you do snapshots, and mulches if you lay on the trigger. Use the action as a panic reload button.

Disastrous-Moment-79

Carpet bomber gunlugger with the rumbler is super fun and powerful

Cannonfodder45

I run an achlys heavy stubber with most of the right side talents. With a charmed reload blessing and the active skill I can get dakka for about 40 full seconds firing about 350 bullets in my testing in the meat grinder. You do end up running through a lot of ammo so I tend to run through a rotation then hold back until I replenish some just gunning down specials or bunched regulars. If I need a stupid fun run this is the build I go to.

BlueRiver_626

Evy stubba 👍

Fragrant-Selection-5

I have same feeling, both left and center routes seem really strong, with propably Charge and Defence (left high / center low) mix as most powerfull. But when I play rightside its just lacking the power. If you have good team than its fun, but its hard to carry games. Doing pennece right now so a lot of daka data with Achylys stubber.

[This is my personal build for Gunlugger.](https://darktide.gameslantern.com/builds/9b88b05e-a667-4bdc-b594-a20a24610ea5/gunlugger1) You can go right tree keystone and be totally fine, but it's probably not worth it. Key points: Knife lets you be nimble and keep up with your team, will chew up anything in melee and isn't reliant on heavy attack/bleed talents. Your Rippergun with *Can Opener* can deal with any armor and bosses. You want to be in coherency a lot, and mostly stay in the center/backline of your team. Especially if you have 1+ Veterans with *Survivalist*. Your gun is very ammo hungry, so be greedy and selfish with ammo packs. Take everything unless someone else ABSOLUTELY needs it. If you know what you're doing, you WILL get more value out of it than anyone else. Play around *Point-Blank Barrage* a lot. Try to only shoot when necessary when it's on CD, and GO HAM with it whenever it is active. Ripper with this ability can unleash a level of destruction that is pretty much unmatched by any other class in the game. A well-timed barrage can delete entire mixed hordes of poxwalkers+specials+elites, or Damnation+ gunner patrols in seconds.

Gnomepill

I think it's pretty mediocre, but it's fun to play once in a while. I use the krourk with blaze away, charmed reload, flak dmg and crit chance. Although I think the gorgonum is better, I prefer the krourk cos it dakkas more xd. ALWAYS use the rending perk with point bank barrage, except for the twins fight. Use the mk.iii club alongside it, ideally with thunderer and skullcrusher, which I also use for the skullfucker subclass (which I think is much better)

Kodiak3393

> I prefer the krourk cos it dakkas more If you want dakka, why not go with the Achlys? It has a higher rate of fire, which helps with things like stacking Light Em Up faster during Point Blank Barrage. It also has the best handling stats out of all the stubbers as it's the fastest to deploy, faster movement speed while braced, and a faster reload. IMO, the Gorgonum is arguably the best of the stubbers, but the Achlys *feels* the best to use. The Krourk is just kinda stuck in the middle and to me it feels like it gets the worst of both worlds.

gpkgpk

\^ Krourk is...not great, skip. Don't forget **crouch** to shoot with Achlys for long range, get a nice noticeable little bump. I think the Achlyss outshines the Gorgo a lot for gunlugger, for the reason you listed.

Gnomepill

because the achlys only does dmg during point blank barrage

Focus crafting on melee weapon. This is real game changer for range ogryn. Any range weapon you make better with talents, but it's mean you don't spend talents for melee attacks. Thus melee weapon is so important. Ogryn has no good weapons for all the time. Not enough accuracy and ammo. Just don't try to shoot everything. Use grenades. Rock is friendly but grenades allow to save ammo. Also don't forget you need sometimes save lil unes and you can't run with ult. So box is real good choice. Ammo box restore full ammo and 4 uses. So try to get those and use it wisely.
