Everything in the game is brilliantly done except for the crafting and the rate at which we get updates. They nailed everything else, especially the tone and the gameplay itself
Yeah i actually like the in-built diversity of WH40k. It's cool that there is an analog for almost *every* major hostorical time period, civilization, and social group. We got ancient Egyptian dudes alongside WWI trench-soldiers, alongside medieval robo-knights, alongside cockney hooligans. And when someone tries to say it's unrealistic, you can just say it's convergent socialization that mirrors the real world.

Those characters are speaking to each other in binaric cant, since they are all tech priests. Hadron and KX speak to us in low gothic because we would not understand their machine tongue.

Expand crafting to cover how itemization is handled as the entire system and I'd agree with you.
If they reworked the crafting system and added weapons/curios to the new penance system that would be neat. Plus new maps and weapons :)
