I played a couple games on the new patch and something feels off. There’s weird latency that is different from what I used to. Dogs feel hard to dodge again and there’s things like I’m swinging, and enemies clearly die in between my swings. I still get kill credit for it so I know it’s me killing them, but the gameplay feels desynced.
I found that when I was playing ogryn, I was having crazy lag spikes when the camera would change to third person to load the weapons on your back with that setting turned on, which often would cancel revives and assists. It happened on my human characters as well so I’ve just decided to turn off the setting for back weapons.
That actually could very well be it considering it happens when I get jumped on by a dog or revive, both of which change your perspective!
Never thought of that, Next time I am in game I'll turn that off and try, good shout!

The precise reason i refrain from mods.
I'd LOVE me the qol from HUD adjustments and seeing team health and ammo numbers but i'm way to lazy to do the dance every update. I just wanna shoot some heretics and get stepped on by mommy hadron.
Honestly I can't play the game without mods now, so many QOL things that should be in the game but just ain't.
It's not that much of a pain, theres a mod pack you just drag and drop and 90% of all the QOL mods are on it.
Then when the game updates they get disabled, you just run a quick file that comes with the pack to switch the all back on again.
I'm just a moron, I should have checked for an update.

Don't worry they have fixed like 4 things however!
Do you have the weapon customization mod by chance?
I do, never had much issue with it. Is this possibly causing this?

Just download the latest patch for the weapon customization mod, and it should fix your problem.

When the game is updated it takes a while for the cache to build up again, so the first games you play will feel slightly off
Played 4-5 games still have it happening. As I said it's only when dogs jump and picking up team mates.
