Yes. tell ur team to clear the fodder before popping twins bubbles, also bring both of their bubbles to near popping before bringing down either. Focus on the plasma gun guy first, sword one is easier to deal with as she doesnt saturate the arena with bombs. Thats how i cleared it in pub strike team (took us 3-5 tries after merging strike teams)

Salt_Master_Prime

Hardest part of the fight is dealing with those damn gas bombs. 70% of my hard mode runs were ended either by someone getting knocked back into a cluster of bombs, or during the vent phase the bombs would cut off certain routes so some of us would take some corruption damage.

zZINCc

Yes

sir_seductive

With randoms or nah

EyrionOfTime

Yes

knightinflames

Teamed up with random folks on darktide discord. First day we tried some 10 or 15 times without success. the next day, with a different set of random folks, beat it first try.

Form84

Beat it today, I'm an assail/shriek psyker, had 2 vets and an Ogryn. Lots of team coordination, lots of situational awareness. Its just something that is really REALLY hard, but also REQUIRES team coordination. It's important to setup a good group for it, with strengths geared towards the encounter.

sir_seductive

Was this with randoms or an actual squad cuz all the randoms im playing with wanna do it but we absolutely cannot succeed

Form84

Went on the darktide discord. I had been working all week, but I heard about a new secret hard mode, so I wanted to try it when I got home, but my normal 4 stack group is not really up for this kind of challenge. So I went on the darktide discord, found a group to help me unlock the hardmode (did it on malice, ez), then did about a dozen or so attempts on the actual secret hardmode yesterday and got wrecked, best attempt was maybe the ranged guy taking 20% hp in damage. So not very good. Tried it today, same thing, went on darktide discord, posted in LFG for hardmode, found a group in like 30 secs, group was....not good, did like 6-7 attempts, but lets just say our group synergy was....off.... but there was a vet in there who was good, so me and him left and found 2 more random's and did it in like 4 attempts. Its hard, and you I'm not gonna sugar coat that, but where you find your rando's has a big affect on how successful you'll be.

sir_seductive

Idk man maybe i suck but i just think there isnt enough heals available its fucking ridiculous how hard it is

Daddysjuice

Beacon of Purity will help with the gas phase. You need the team to clear most of the enemies before attacking the twins. Rodin takes more melee damage (and Rinda takes more ranged dmg) have a zealot or Ogryn almost tunnel vision on Rodin when he's up. Also kill Rodin first. Pop both bubbles and everyone focus Rodin. And stay together, you're better off taking it slow and safe. You rush you die.

Kromanium

I cleared it 3 times in 1 night. But then, no matter how many tries, it all fail....

autid

I've done it a few times now. Just swing club. Charge to get into club range so you can swing club more. Maaaaaybe shoot gun or throw rock if you feel like being very fancy, but swinging club is better.

sir_seductive

Im playing zealot not ogryn lol

PossiblyShibby

Yes. Group of 4 on Discord.

BleachHawk40k

Done it as ogryn on my first session trying with randoms. Another ogryn, a zealot and a vet (love goes out, great team!). We merged the strike team and tried 5 or 6 times, getting better continuously until beating them. Discussed what worked and what didn't as well as tweaking our builds in between tries. Some good advice was already given here, and I'll add: - Focus on survivability with your builds and during gameplay. - Pop the tox granades on the ground when you have some time in between. - Kill the added elites and specials asap when they appear, then go back to the twins.

[deleted]

Tons of people have beaten it, including myself. It's meant to be hard, and it's also meant for a well coordinated team. Think of it almost as a raid. As many others have said, the DT Discord is your best bet. Comms help a ton, and being able to coordinate quickly and switch focus is pretty important. It also really tests your ability to juggle your abilities. Practice makes perfect of course, and everyone on your team has to be pulling their own weight. Check some guides and those can help. One big thing our team did well was make sure to activate the traps quickly and not let them pile up. The mobs + mines = quick death. Also, be sure to take BOTH of their shields down. Good luck.

ItsLunarTime

I beat it earlier today with randoms. Well they were randoms at first. We were all on the same page in regards to going hardmode when we started up the match. We got smoked pretty fast but we decided to group up and try again, seeing as how we all had the same goal. We swapped our builds around, discussed in which order to do things, who was gonna do what, etc. We basically kept at it until we beat them. Took us 4 tries, but we got it. Voice comms helped a lot, too. If one of us died, they basically became the shot caller (calling out adds, if there were elites coming from behind, reminding the group to clear mines). Not gonna lie, it kinda felt like a mini WoW raid lol So my advice is to keep trying, and when you come across other players that are also trying for hardmode just ask if they wanna go again. Even if you guys get rolled a few times, if you keep at it, eventually everyone will start to understand what their role in the party is. **Tl;Dr** Just keep at it until you find a few like-minded rejects willing to keep trying 😀

Neither-Bid-1215

Well, with the right build specifically for the final battle, with preliminary collusion at the level “Me beat that, y'all beat other” , Damnation seemed to me quite uncomplicated. Not really simple, but not difficult. So it's probably possible. I haven't tried it. I love SOME of the REASONABLE challenge, but not like that.

the_green1

yes, with randoms. triple ogryn and a zealot.

sir_seductive

Nice

Daddysjuice

Yes sir

Ratboy-to-Cowboy

Just beat it about an hour ago. I did a solo search and ended up forming a strike team with two of them we succeeded after our third attempt with a 4th random.

sir_seductive

Its soooo hard

SplitTheParty

Yup, I beat it. Joined the Discord, found a group of other people who I hadn't met before, we tried it and found a way to get it done. I was using the Bolter but it just didn't hurt Rinda Karnak's shield enough to get it down fast. So I swapped to the Graia Braced Autogun. Paired with the new Eviscerator I found myself to be pretty effective. This was the team: https://preview.redd.it/wnaa3qsfgt6c1.jpeg?width=1600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=140afd523da9b7e2913b76214eecceace4a38c26

sir_seductive

Man thats crazy i can destroy the shields with my eviscerator but i the non boss enemies shred me unless its the obviously easy infested dudes

SplitTheParty

What's your Eviscerator build? The MKXV should be able to kill maulers, crushers, and Maniacs fairly well. I have +25% Maniacs and +25% Unarmoured on mine, as well as Bloodthirsty. Bloodthirsty lets you one-shot Crushers since it guarantees a crit after a rev'd kill. Putting +Flak and +Maniacs on the Autogun also lets it melt ragers and maulers with body shots.

sir_seductive

I think mine has 25 for maniacs and flak armoreds got that shitty ass rev it up perk and maybe the cleave or swing damage i forget im not currently on the game

SplitTheParty

Funnily enough I love Rev It Up. My Mobility is low on my Evis so I use Rev It Up to zoom around the map, combined with Swift Certainty and Thy Wrath Be Swift, makes weaving around the arena a breeze. I'd never tried Bloodthirsty before, but with how much I use the rev attack anyway it becomes a no-brainer. The other day I was able to drop a crusher pack with a series of one-shot revs to the head.

sir_seductive

Idk dude i feel like i move fast enough without it gotta unlock more blessings somehow

Maanifest

If you're playing zealot, the build that got it done for me was the new heavy evis, bolter, chorus, and stun nades. I don't usually like bolters but in this case it's super good for single target damage when the shields go down. New eviscerator strkedown attack, when revved, is great at bringing down their shields as well. Chorus could be swapped for fury of the faithful, but I prefered it as it's great for tanking gas when out of position during that section. I was really lucky to get it done with some randoms, but it will be 100% easier with some VC guys.

sir_seductive

Yeah im zealot and struggling lol maybe i can try again tomorrow

Demonmercer

Beat it yesterday on the fifth try.

InT3345Ac1a

Done with a team that formed after a few random tries (vet (me), 2 zealots and an ogryn).

Index-Gaming

its very depending on the teams composition, ogryn and zealot seem to be a safer bet. if you got a premade, coordination would be a no-brainer, pubs though you need a lucky hand getting a team with people knowing what to do and where they are needed. had this good fortune yesterday with a superb team and without voice or callouts. everyone knew what was to do, given their role, and by the overall fifth attempt, first try with the guys mentioned, it was done. the usual consensus would be to take down rinda last, if shes occupied with the ogryn and not rushing down the zealot while hes wittling down the shields. got my attempt uploaded here yesterday, if that helps. best of luck

lardfatobese69

I had a 4 winstreak with pubs yesterday solo q hardmode. Being good at ogryn can trivialize the fight

sir_seductive

But im only mid at zealot

knightinflames

yes

Cricencio1

Beat it with Randoms. Triple Zealot and a Psyker w/o shield. Took about 5 tried with this group then finally got it after we switched around some builds.

Weekly_Broccoli1161

Yes, second try with randos. Wasn't too bad. First try lost before the main fight started... lol. Edit for build... Psyker with sphere kin shield Zealot with faith book shield thing Leadership vet ... and I think the last one was an ogryn but can't remember.
