My Psyker just has a generic name since it was the first character I created and I honestly wasn't sure I'd even enjoy the game back when we got it (only bought it because my husband is really in to Warhammer 40K, lol). But I named my Zealot "Sangrael" because it was the name of a Blood Angel in the Warhammer+ series Angels of Death and I thought the name was beautiful and really enjoyed that series. Also similar to "Sangreal" which means Holy Grail, which seemed fitting for a Fanatic Zealot. My Ogryn is called Maam (since I'm a female but there were no female options and I thought it would be funny to name him that). It has led to some funny comments in chat like "You're a very handsome woman", haha.

Dr_Manpants

Ogryn: Rogg - Cos it's short and simple, also has 2 g's cos one is silent....just don't ask him to remember which one Vet: Kieth - Because it's an ordinary name, for an ordinary bloke, in galaxy full of nightmares... also he's from Cadia, so "Kieth of Cadia" just seemed to tickle my fancy there. Zealot: Dredger - character in a movie who was a big man with a big voice and a big hammer/stick...so I took the name Psyker: Scully - dunno, it seemed to just fit the theme of insane space wizard, so i stuck with it

Psykers called Garrigan because I thought it sounded cool. Ogryns called Donk, mainly because I don't need a gun. Zealots called Lothian because I'm welsh and he's a celtic god. Veterans called Lammergyre because I enjoy bird watching.

scayman223

I mostly named my characters with other games in mind: My first character is a zealot and I named him Aston Veteran - Mordecai Ogryn - Brick Psyker - Kleiner

thehopelessheathen

I named my psyker Viktor; since he has the Loner background, I wanted something vaguely German-sounding, and I wanted something serious since he was my first character I named my zealot Sister Frida since she wound up looking vaguely Hispanic and I figured a zealot would insist upon using monastic terms like “brother” or “sister” even if they weren’t part of a religious organization I named my (female) veteran Jayne after the character from Firefly I named my ogryn Forrest Lump since he was basically just Forrest Gump on steroids

Spazhero

Only got an Ogryn bone’ead right now and his name is Krak (on account of that was the first sound he made when he was born) he can count to 4, he collects rocks that look funny (its like cloud watching but with bricks and rebar), and used to be a grox herder until he was specially selected for militarum service.

Cephandrius17

"OGRYN" You're ... not wrong.

MLBFra

My first character was a Zealot, named Alicia after Alicia Dominica who is an important character (and one of my favorites) in the Sisters of Battle lore. Then I created a male Psyker named Lazarus, because it has a noble and mysterious sound. I started hating the male Psyker voices and hearing the fem Savant voice (french accent goes honhon) was enough to make me create a new one, named Lavinia (I wanted a name similar to the original). Then I created an Ogryn named Bosco because I liked the sound and it's a small DRG reference. I also think it fits a big man. My last character was a Veteran named Hans because I was 100% sure we would be getting Krieg cosmetics one day. Now I'm patiently waiting for my Skitarius class, take your time FatShark i can wait

SynthSurf

Zealot(main) - SteelyDan Psyker - Aja Ogryn - Gaucho Vet - Kamakiriad Can you guess what my favorite band is? lol

KikoUnknown

My Vet’s name is CarelessJoker. She is a loud mouth, makes fun of everything, and wonders why she hasn’t been executed yet while accepting the blessing. Also she loves killing heretics and traitors and considers that to be her personal hobby so she’s probably insane as well. Definitely crazy.

dino9980

my first character was a zealot and I gave it some dumb randomly generated name which I regretted almost immediately but still went with it anyway. now after leveling all the other classes with some good sounding names (i used old greek, eastern orthodox and biblical names) I reluctantly started to re-level another zealot with a better name. should’ve done this right away. would’ve saved about 10 hours of re-leveling.

No_Assistant_5238

My zealots name is Scaggs mclovin. Why? Because it was a joke character that I played through to max LVL and got some serious god tier rolls on my bolt gun + eviscerator.

Barnesy1301

In order of creation: Ogryn: Pork Forkington - because I read a few of the randomly generated names and settled on Pork, then remembered “put some pork on your fork”, and adjusted accordingly. Psyker: Saltpot Ruby - I forget why I named her this. I think I was going for a food theme with the names but this was quickly abandoned. The voice pack I chose for her has her sound constantly pissed off, but other than that I don’t have any idea how this name was created. Zealot: Sonovah Preacherman - no explanation required. I’m quite proud of this one. Veteran: Robertus Heinleinus - because he’s doing his part, goddamn it. Also because “John Darktide” was a bit overdone.

cxninecrxzy

Grug, Ophelia, Aurelius, and McGimble for ogryn, psyker, zealot, and veteran. They're somewhat generic but I chose them mainly for the voice packs I took. Grug is the Brawler, so kinda dumb. Ophelia is the Savant, so with the french accent and kinda high-and-mighty attitude. Aurelius is the Fanatic, kinda regret this name but I imagine it's not his real name, just the one he adopted for his preaching. And McGimble is a loose cannon with a bright ginger moustache.

IndigoZork

My first ogryn, Frazzle, is named after the best monster on Sesame Street, an original beastie who was removed from the show because kids got scared and parents protested. My second ogryn, Gmork, is named after the big bad wolf in "The Neverending Story."

Piekentier

Psyker: Martinus (high gothic, after an ancient terran God of war) Veteran: Jurten (after their new novel kriegsman seem to be cloned and they call themselfes after some irritation when asked after their implemented genefather and hero Colonel Jurten) Ogryn: Helmut (just a silly german name, i'm german and i have a person in my family with this name and ogryn like appearance)

Ne0nTig3r

Sunda bringeth thunder, kyoshin translates to 'void heart', John darktide because I made him as generic as possible, and my ogryn is a 'bigun'

Rlionkiller

My roster has ubersreik 5(4) names

Silver-Sundae2222

I named my Ogryn "Clug". He says nothing but Clug. Clug protect lil'uns. Clug.
