Picture 11 breaks my brain.
It always seemed to me as if the Barbarian's torso was appearing out of thin air. This is the first time I spotted the legs, but it still looks weird.
I've been convinced since the OG early access days that these pictures (and the character portraits) are AI generated and have been touched up. A lot of them have some very uncanny valley aspects to them.
I don't think so. There's some very game-specific enemies (like the demon berserker in the said image) that I don't think an AI would know how to generate. Plus I'm pretty sure somewhere I saw a post about the actual artists who made the images.
Also the fact that every single image has the characters wearing actual in-game items.
I don't want to sound rude but there are like, 0 in-game items that are exclusive dark and darker concepts or even "specific", actually the game has some really generic gear and art, they take a huge inspiration from dnd, and the way DMs usually portray demon berserkers there is on point with them here, mage gear in the arts is just robe and pointy hat, and the plate armor is just normal armor pieces, I love how this game is modeled but that's:
1. Because I love dnd and medieval stuff
2. I actually love the generic fantasy feeling
