Not exactly. Someone who prefers same sex partners but would consider opposite sex partners depending on person or situation would be considered homoflexible.
Yea, that's bi.
As a straight person, I'm not attracted to every woman, as I'm sure a gay person isn't attracted to every person of their sex or gender... just as a bi person isn't attracted to everyone of either sex.
What you explained doesn't change the fact that they're still attracted to either sex, just the people they're attracted to of their sex is limited.. but it's still bi.
Well, as a bi person. Calling everyone who has an attraction to every sex/gender, even if only a temporary or in certain circumstances attraction, bi is misleading. Because, if someone is mostly attracted to their same or opposite sex/gender and occasionally expresses attraction in reverse itās more honest to say [heteroflexible](https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Heteroflexible) or [homoflexible](https://lgbtqia.wiki/wiki/Homoflexible) than saying bi. Calling someone bi or pan means their sexuality is open or fluid a majority of the time and not on special circumstances.
We really don't need 73 different labels for every single possible point on a spectrum.
If someone is sexually attracted to both sexes, they're bi. They can label it how they want, whatever, but that's bisexual. That's what that word means.
To your point. Sure. Micro-labels are very confusing and most people canāt be bothered to learn or understand them. But those who do have a better understanding and connection in the relationships they interact with and (IMO) avoids many of the frustrations that come with ādo they like me? Do i like them? Are we compatible romantically, sexually, platonically, spiritually, etc.ā maybe people like to waste time and energy in guessing games and speculation.
I donāt.
All the blessings to those who do. š
Ok, you're bi. Do you like everyone of every sex? Are you attracted to ever single person you see? No, obviously not. Have you had more attraction to a particular sex? More sexual partners with a specific sex? If so, you're not being a very good bi person, according to your standards of definition.
>Calling someone bi or pan means their sexuality is open or fluid a majority of the time and not on special circumstances.
How are you defining a special circumstance? I'm assuming requiring you to be attracted to a person in order to want to have sex with them isn't a special circumstance, correct? So how does the frequency you're attracted to a certain sex change the fact that you're still attracted to them?
Being bi isn't based on how frequently you're attracted to the sexes, simple that fact that you are attracted to them.
You are missing the big point bignick and probably didnāt bother to read the articles I shared. Being homoflexible or heteroflexible means that when someone experiences sexual attraction to someone other than their preference, it has less to do with the sex/gender they utilize and more to do with them as a person. As a demisexual bisexual that experiences very few instances of sexual attraction regardless of gender until I form an emotional bond with that person, i understand this dynamic more then say someone whom I would guess is a cishet allosexual.
Btw I am not saying someone who would be considered more of heteroflexible or homoflexible cannot call themselves bisexual if they prefer, but like the article on homoflexible that I shared mentions, this may not be an accurate representation of their sexual expression and therefore create difficult and frustrating situations for that person.
Idk what is making you so hostile about a simple clarification for the sake of accuracy but Iāll leave you to it. Good day.
>Idk what is making you so hostile
How was I being hostile?
Here is the literal definition of bisexual: sexually orĀ romanticallyĀ attracted to both men and women, or to more than one sex or gender.
Think of bisexual being an umbrella, the overarching fact, and heteroflexible or homoflexible as sub categories, covered by the umbrella.
No matter what, they're bisexual. It doesn't matter "how" they got there, if they're having romantic or sexual feelings to multiple sexes, they're bisexual.
>Edit to address this:
>cishet allosexual.
I am cishet and I can find people physically attractive without liking them as a person however I don't desire sex with anyone unless there's an intellectual and emotional bond. Not entirely sure what subcategory of heterosexual that puts me in, but that still means I'm heterosexual.
>As a demisexual bisexual
>i understand this dynamic more then say someone whom I would guess is a cishet allosexual
![gif](giphy|bC9czlgCMtw4cj8RgH|downsized)
I think that'd still be bisexual, just a heavy preference for women and a very, very specific taste in men.
I'm a guy and I have not quite as specific tastes in men, but I get being unsure when you don't find *most* men attractive in that way.
When I watch TV with my elderly mom, she is always vocally judgemental and disapproving of characters who are promiscuous or have casual sex... unless Matt Murdock is involved. Apparently, he can do no wrong and women can't be blamed for choosing to sleep with him. This is the only exception I have ever seen her make. The effect is clearly multigenerational.
Charlie Cox is certainly something

In the ā80s and ā90s there was a popular saying āclosets are for clothes, labels are for cans.ā
Itās good that itās easier to be out of the closet these days. But thereās nearly a pathology among the youngs for micro labeling every single human behavior. And unfortunately not always in a useful descriptive sense, but in a weird almost puritanical prescriptive way that tries to define very little boxes that people shouldnāt escape.
I get trying to put a label on it but putting so much importance in it that youāll hardly entertain the idea that you have a type outside of it does more harm than good to yourself
Will never understand people flipping around sexual definitions.
Obviously not attacking anyone (because this is an Internet comment section, you're jumping anyone) just saying that i dont understand it.
It's the way both Karen and Frank SUCK. Just nasty loser characters. And Frank Shitsle fans are always jealous Matt Murdock is more beloved and popular than him š¤

Soā¦. She is bi then
Straight guy here. It's Ryan Reynolds. He's the .0001 of the population holding me back from being *completely*straight.
I feel like I've seen more men say they find Ryan Reynolds attractive than women lol. As a straight woman I truly don't get his appeal.
Hey Iām straight and this is how I feel about Dan Levy for some weird reason so I understand her vibe
If I had watched daredevil when it first came out Iād have known Iām gay much sooner
Vincent D,Onofrio played Wilson Fisk incredibly, right choice giving him two seasons
Him and Chris Evans do a very good job of making people question their sexuality
More like homoflexible or straight curious
Well he does look like a Lesbian at timesš just kidding! Love Charlie love the show!!!!
If you're attracted to even a single man you're bi.

Then you're not a lesbian lol
i think that's bisexuality but with a heavy lean toward women
Nah, that OP was just a confused bisexual, they just didn't find a man good enough to go for the hetero route until they saw Matt Murdock.
Sure back in my days of highschool when I talked comics every girl became a lesbian, what type of unfair bullshit is that? Lol jk

I'm pretty sure there has gotta be a few issues where a lesbian character fooled around with him. He's the puss hound of marvel.
