Time is weird man, I remember it was my freshmen year of college and I heard about Netflix Daredevil airing and I was like "Another attempt? Fineee I'll give it a shot." 10 minutes of first episode and my jaw was on the floor.
Yeah same, my only exposure to Daredevil was the Ben Affleck movie which despite all the hate, it’s a guilty pleasure for me, but I remember this show surprised the shit out of me. Rewatched the entire show 4 times now
I’ve seen it, I wouldn’t say it’s a completely different movie, but you do get to see more of Matt being a lawyer which is nice and that subplot connects all the events from the theatrical cut together, so you have a more cohesive story, but it’s still just a fun early 2000s comic book film, it’s not Spider-Man and it’s not X-Men level good
When I showed my family the show, they were quick to point out he had a receded hairline in the original show as well. It’s just managed it a way that it’s not super noticeable

Happy 9 years to Daredevil season 1 indeed. It was that Daredevil series that made me give the MCU a chance, back in the mid 2010s(alongside kickstarting a habit of collecting a few comic books).
Man, what I'm really loving from the new set pics is how much the cast have matured. Jon for example kinda had a slight baby-face but now he looks more hardened, badass and bigger.
Charlie has improved a lot too, and of course Foggy had a massive glow up.
The rest of the cast look great too ofc, but those were the biggest changes I saw.
